A time travelling to the Joseon Dynasty!Meet all the most beautiful four seasons in Folk Village

A typical village of the Joseon period has been recreated on a 245-acre site regarded as a propitious location according to the principles of feng shui, with a river flowing in front of it and a mountain behind it. Visitors can experience our Korean ancestors’ native wisdom in the Korean Folk Village where 270 traditional Korean houses have been relocated from the various regions of Korea, and can take part in a re-enactment of the ancient way of life.

The Korean Folk Museum focuses on Korea’s seasonal customs and way of life, the World Folk Museum features some 3,000 folk artifacts collected from around the world, and the Mask Dance Exhibition Hall contains a fascinating array of traditional masks. Each exhibition is designed to enhance visitors’ understanding of an aspect of Korea’s history and folk culture.
