surplus of trees, sunshine and fresh air contributes to this

creativity boost in trail blazers.

Connecting With Their Roots (9th April ' 2016)

Visit to a farm was an eye opener for our city bred children. They were exposed to a whole new world of

farming – right from sowing of seeds to harvesting of crops. Plucking fresh vegetables, climbing up a

‘machan ’ to having lunch under the shade of trees was an unforgetful experience.

Trip to MC Donald's (22nd April '16)

What better way to teach the students to

handle money than to let them place their

own order and make payment.

Earth Day (18th April '16)

Go Green ! was the slogan for the C.I.E. students on Earth Day. There was a discussion on Global Warming and the students surprised us with their awareness and suggested various ways as to how they could contribute to save the earth like using LED lights, switching off all the lights and fans before leaving the room, planting trees and walking instead of using cars for short distances. Planting saplings in used plastic bottles was a lesson in recycling and a small step towards saving the environment.

“A single tree will absorb one ton of carbon dioxide over its lifetime.”

Yummy Sundae (23rd April '16)

Our young chefs at Seedling The World School tried their hands at dishing up delicious

sundae. They put scoops of ice cream in glasses and enjoyed dressing it with various

fruits and chocolate chips. At the end they all had ‘A Yummy Sundae Party!’

Educational Trip To The Post Ofce (25th April '16)

Educational trips give students the chance to build closer ties with their c lassmates , exper ience new environments and give children the o p p o r t u n i t y f o r m e a n i n g f u l educational experiences. From their trip to the post office the students learnt about the different services rendered by the post office. The children were amazed to learn about the journey of a letter, how they are collected , sorted and delivered.

Helping Hands (1st May '16)

On 1st May the school paid honour to the unsung heroes who

work the whole day long to make our lives comfortable. The

C.I.E. children put up a fancy dress show where they came

dressed in "Our Helpers" costumes. Aarav Manish dressed

as a farmer secured 1st position. Anik Singh as Chef

secured 2nd position and Darshan Doshi dressed as a

milkman was ranked 3rd. All other students were awarded

certificates.

Mother’s Day Celebration (8th May '16)

Mothers are the sweetest gifts of God. There is no

way we can really thank our mother for all she does

for us. To show their love and express their gratitude

for their mother, the C.I.E. students made photo

frames and wrote letters of appreciation which were

posted to their home address by the school.
