Get the pupils to name and describe traditional food they eat at home e.g. thosai, nasi kerabu and dim sum.
Get the pupils to talk about the food they would like for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Introduce the concept of balanced diet and relate the effects of too much fat.
Initiate the discussion on what happened if the pupils do not eat well or exercise. Introduce the concept of obesity and the effects of being obese.
Ask the pupils to replace the coloured words with suitable responses.
Get the pupils to name the objects in the classroom and give the plural form of the words. Introduce ies and ves as in cherries and leaves.
The pupils find and name fruits or vegetables according to the letters of the alphabet i.e. a is for aubergine, etc. Contextual Learning
