Kuranda Express Experience

Take in two of North Queensland’s must-see attractions in one magical afternoon. Journey 328 metres above sea level aboard Kuranda Scenic Railway, then fly above the rainforest canopy for a birds-eye view on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.

2.00PM - Kuranda Railway StationBoard the Kuranda Scenic Railway and experience the old-world charm of heritage rail carriages. Journey across the impressive Stoney Creek Bridge and through some of the oldest rainforest in the world.

3.30PM - Freshwater Railway StationA quiet station amidst tropical gardens and heritage railway carriages. From here you will be transferred by air-conditioned coach to the Skyrail Smithfield Terminal.

3.45PM - Skyrail Smithfield TerminalExperience the rainforest from above with Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Take a ranger guided boardwalk tour and learn more about nature at the Rainforest Interpretation Centre.

5.00PM - Skyrail Kuranda TerminalYour picturesque Kuranda Scenic Railway and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway journey comes to an end at Kuranda Terminal.
