DIRECTIONS FOR USE

This recommendation is made as permitted under Section 2(ee) and has not been submitted toor approved by the EPA. Always read and follow all label directions when using any pesticide.

This 2(ee) bulletin contains directions for use which do not appear on the EPA registered labelof Safari20 SG Insecticide. Please refer to the production label for additional information.

Safari 20 SG Insecticide may be applied to control Myoporum Thrips in Ornamental

Plantings.Application

Apply as soon as pest appears. Treatment will protectnew plant growth from feeding damage, but will not

correct preexisting plant damage from thrips feeding.

Preventive applications: Application before plantflushes new growth so as to protect it from insectdamage.

Curative (after infestation) applications: Control maynot be evident for several days following soil applicationand basal trunk sprays. Speed of control will depend onlevel of plant activity.Soil Drench: apply 1-4 pints of dilute solution to base ofsoil around each plant.

Broadcast spray: Apply over the top of plant beds in awater volume sufficient to move product to soil surface.If necessary, irrigate after application to move product offof foliage and into upper root zone of soil.

Basal trunk spray: Spray bark on lower 4.5 feet of trunkjust to to the point of runoff. Use of a non-ionicsurfactant at 0.25% v/v may improve control.

Use Precautions:1. Do not apply more than 2.7 lbs of Safari 20 SG Insecticide per acre.

Follow all applicable directions, restrictions and precautions on the EPA-registered labels. Thislabeling must be in the possession of the user at the time of pesticide application.

It is a violation of Federal law to use these products in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
