Personal names - 1
• Fictitious characters are now treated as “persons” e.g. Poirot, Hercule
• Real non-human entities may be creatorse.g. Socks (Presidential pet), 1989-2009
• Terms indicating relationship such as Jr are treated as part of the preferred namee.g. Sigrist, Paul E., Jr.

• Use of “active” over “fl.”
• May add an occupation or field of activity to break a conflicte.g. Goodwin, Allen $c (Psychologist)
