Le Futur Proche!• In English, there are two ways in which we can
express a future action. We can either say: I will…or I’m going to…
• Le Futur Proche is a tense used to express the actions that are going to happen in the near future.
• This tense allows you to talk about what you are going to do this weekend for example.
How to form the Futur Proche!
• To form the Futur Proche you need:
(1) A Form of the verb Aller (to go)
(2) An Infinitive (unconjugated verbs ending in er/ir/re)
Futur Proche = Form of Aller + Infinitive
Form of Aller (to go) + Infinitive
Je vais aller à la plage Tu vas jouer au tennis
Il/elle/on va regarder la télé Nous allons manger des croissants Vous allez faire les coursesIls/elles vont aller au cinéma
