PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma):

PRP, known as Platelet Rich Plasma therapy is very natural as it uses your own blood components for treatments and it is showing impressive results. Similarly, PRP therapy can also be done on the face for Acne scars, for firming and tightening of the skin, for reducing fine lines and for rejuvenation. This is also known as a Vampire face Lift.

This part of the plasma is taken and spinned again so that the platelets are suspended in the plasma. A tiny drop of calcium compound is injected into this plasma, which helps platelets release, several growth factors. These growth factors are very useful in tissue regeneration and healing. This is then injected on the scalp or applied on the scalp after Derma roller treatment in the areas of hair loss. A minimum of eight sittings will be required, on every fortnight for best results and it may also be used along with medication like Minoxidil and Finpecia. The sittings can also be alternated with stem cell sittings. Combination therapies always provide better results. You will soon start seeing a fuzz of hair after your fourth sitting. It not only promotes hair growth but also strengthens hair follicles. It is quite a safe procedure without any side effects. The treatment itself may feel uncomfortable because of the needle pricks but the procedure actually only lasts 5-10 minutes at the most and the numbing the scalp prior to the procedure helps.
