1:IMPACT OF LIFESTYLE AND ENVİRONMENT ON HEALTH:

Students will compare their shopping habits and learn about where their food comes from. They will measure food miles, and learn about Fair Trade. Students will compare their diets and the cost of their food with students in other countries. Students will also study product packaging and how it affects our health and study the causes and results of eating disorders

During each Visit, teachers and host school students are going to visit a local food provider, a hospital, a farm, a greenhouse, a marketplace, a supermarket.

Students will explore the difference between hormone injected food and natural food and find out the damage the hormone injected food causes to body and how they can avoid eating them. After they learn the damage of hormone injected food,They will want to find ways to grow their own food and cook it. They will grow their own food in the garden of our own schools. By this way,they will compare how crops grow in different climates.

Children will meet each other by e-mail, video conferencing, and blogging. There will be a direct link between the Student Councils throughout the project, and some students will meet in person in the final Mobility. Visiting teachers will be asked to teach a lesson to a group of children during each Mobility in partnership with host teachers. They will be encouraged to keep in contact after the project.

Students will research the features and environmental issues facing their own countries and present them to each other in a Travel Fair format. During each mobility, the host school will hold an event to which families can be invited. Displays in each school will inform students and visitors about the partner countries.

Student Councils in each school will meet visitors from partner schools, will help to decide what goes into the Activities and will evaluate the Activities. They will help to select the children to take part in the final Mobility.

ACTİVİTY 2 Survey about eating habits of students

►Reseach on the causes and results of eating disorder

►Research on the hormone injected food and natural food (the differences and damage of hormone injected food on our body.

There will be a meeting about the results of questionaires and research on hormone injected food and causes and results of eating disorder at the Health Science Commitee and we are all going to discuss the harmful effects of hormone injected food and start grow natural food in our school garden.

environment - e.g photo journal, artwork and writing inspired by school environment, research about national landscapes, climate, natural features, environmental issues

Mobility 2 Students will present a lesson about

Mobility 3 Students will present a lesson about research

on School environment / National environment Students will show the photos of growing area

and will describe what has been done up to that time.

Comparison of crops grown in each country will result in greater understanding of the impact of climate and environment on food production -and will help explain why some food travels many miles to the shops and they are more beneficial for our body.

Students present a lesson"selling" their country as a tourist destination. Host country may hold a "Travel Fair" and invite families.

OCTOBERActivity 5: National Recipes, collect favourite

recipes and research traditional dishes.

Activity 6:Physical Health /Research on the value of regular exercise,

*Students will present a lesson about National Recipes (3 Recipes will be presented by videos)

Students will present the survey result and the importance of regular exercises.

We are going to create ideas to convince the students to do much more sports.

*The most famous national meal will be cooked.Teachers present a lesson from Activity 5 - eg

teach a recipe. Host country may host and International Lunch and invite parents.

-Interview with a Physical Education Teacher and write his/her ideas about Sports and how we can persuade students doing regular exercises.

-Research about the benefits of dance to our health and National Folk Dances,e. g. recording some videos about National Folk dances,learn history of National Folk Dances.

Host country may invite a National folk dance group to watch alive.

Students will present the videos of the folk dances.

They may teach some of the movements and they

may prepare two minutes show together

MOBİLİTY 6International Friendship / Tournament Promises. 2 children from each country from International Health Science Committee. Learn traditional playground games. Invite local community to Sports Day Celebration. Make 5 international Game Tournament Promises to take away.

Each school will adopt a Charter for Action to create Healthy lifestyle drawn up by the Student Council. Each school will include these actions in future development plans. Health issues will be established in the school curriculum.

Staff in all schools will have increased their knowledge of teaching and learning practice by visiting and sharing with European partners throughout the project.

Italy will help on the setting up website and updating information ,communicating,and sharing information.

It’s responsible for setting up Blog and facebook group set up,updating information regularly .

Poland will lead on the study of food production and shopping habits. They will use data handling skills to plan activities which generate useful comparative information.It’ll also prepare the questionare about food source,shopping habit, and eating disorder.

Greece will lead on the comparison of national foods and food growing project. The curriculum of their school is linked closely to the natural environment in which it is set and it will also lead on the Travel Fair project.

Spain is responsible for the National Folk dance performance and comparison of data about growing food.

Austria will lead on the comparison of national games and healthy lifestyles. The school will draw on the strength of their PE teachers and their success in national competitions.It’ll also manage the activities of international tournament.

Turkey is the Project Coordinator, and will ensure that all mobilities take place as planned and that all planning and evaluation activities are completed and collated.

Turkey is also responsible for the book about national playground games and website.

We are going to have a Comenius Corner (the place everyone can see at school) in each School.We are also going to disseminate the results,information,decisions ,news,photos of each visit etc there.

Before each visit,The students will write 10 words or phrases’ posters in the language of host country on the board of Comenius Corner and learn them.

Each School will maintain a prominent display throughout the project in the Public area of the School.

The project website will be updated and each school will link to it from their own wesite.

After each visit,each school will hold a staff meeting to inform the latest news and also hold a meeting with Health Science Committee.

The Project Leader in each school will make contact with Newspapers,Radio, and Tv in order to advertise the work to the wider community.

We may hold at one Open Event for Parents ,Education Authorities to celebrate the work of partnership ,during the visit of each country.

We are also going to set up a blog and will be updated regularly.

We would also have an e-twinning group.However,there’s a problem about it. I sent an e-mail to set up a group on e-twinning group application address.

Unfortunately,they haven’t replied my e-mail yet.

For that reason we may set up a group on facebook instead of e-twinning. group

After each visit,The evaluation form will be sent by e-mail to all participants and will send it back in a week.

By this way,we are going to evaluate the activities,trips,etc ,try to solve the problems if there is,and how we can make it better.We’ll do our best to fullfill excellent project.

Each activity will be evaluated against the 6 objectives identified in project objectives.

Work, photographs and artefacts will be displayed in schools following each activity.

Health Science Committees and Parent Forums will discuss the impact of each activity on the objectives, and their comments will feed back into planning for future activities.

February 2013Comparison of survey

February 2014 After studying each other's "My Country" web pages, they will hold their own Travel Fair, presenting information about their partners. They will have a better knowledge of other European countries.

May 2014 Children will learn to play traditional games from other countries. They will compete together in a Youth and Sports Day Celebration(19th May). They will have a better attitude to fitness and health and a greater respect for different cultures.

I want you to organize less expensive hotels and try to decrease the expenses to incorporate more students.It’s just my wish.It’s a big chance for my students to participate in this project so I want to incorporate more students to mobilities.
