UNDER WRAPSIt’s no secret that a tangle of textures in an earthy color palette is the epitome of boho-chic style. We chose four leather strands for this laid-back look—and then added our own flair with charms, stamping blanks and beads.

HOUR OF BEADShow off that survived-the-work-week pedi with some DIY’d footwear. Just embellish a pair of forgotten-about sandals with beads, leather cording, ribbon and more. We stitched on the beads, but we simply glued on the leather and wove the ribbon through holes we punched.

This handmade scarf reinforces the flower

child vibe in the classiest of ways. Just place strips

of fringe in between right sides of half a yard

of fabric, and stitch it closed. Then turn it

right side out, sew the ends together, and the

fringe is as ready to dance in the breeze

as you are.

Fringe is in—so browse your last-season castoffs (or shop our Wearables Department) for a bag that’s just begging for the fringe treatment. Then cover it in layers of deerskin fringe (adhered with fabric glue)—it comes in pieces that you can cut and customize to fit your unique style.

We made these easy-breezy earrings by simply knotting

deerskin lace to toggle clasps and attaching the clasps to ear wires. And the headband? It’s a

two-tone macramé design made with a series of square knots.

on-trend head-turners.

Turn sunnies into stunners with suede lace. Place three strands in an end crimp, and alternate between braided and unbraided sections, securing each braid with glue and a slider bead. Finish with another end crimp and eyeglass holders.

CLIP SIDEDress up everyday basics like purses, keychains and more with

a twirly leather tassel! Here’s what you need: leather fringe, metal rings, bead cap, swivel clasp, eye pin, craft adhesive.

STEP 1Roll fringe piece tightly,

securing at top with craft adhesive. Repeat with two more fringe pieces

around first piece, making each subsequent piece ½″

shorter than the one before, as shown.

STEP 2Slide two rings

onto top of tassel, and position as desired.

STEP 3Thread eye pin through bead cap, and hook it to swivel clasp. Glue bead cap to top of tassel as shown, and let dry.
