WelcomeWe hope the information in this presentation will help familiarize you with the new Lehman Brothers
Café on the second floor of 1301 Sixth Avenue. The café’s updated floor plan is enclosed along with descriptions of each station, the opening week’s menu, giveaways and guest chef information.
Hours of operation are as follows: 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Breakfast 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Lunch
Restaurant Associates (RA) is proud to have been chosen as the food service provider for Lehman Brothers 1301 Sixth Avenue, as well as to continue to serve Lehman Brothers at three other locations in the tri-state area. RA has achieved a leadership position in the industry by creating exciting contemporary dining concepts in New York such as Tropica Bar and Seafood House, Naples 45, Café Centro and Cucina & Co. in the MetLife Building; The Sea Grill and Rock Center Café in Rockefeller Plaza; Brasserie in the Seagram Building; and Brasserie 81/2 at 9 West 57th Street.
We feature office catering that includes coffee service, continental breakfast and lunch. Breakfast specialties, hot buffets and special receptions are also available. Station Descriptions• Deli — Features made-to-order sandwiches, a daily wrapper, specialty sandwiches and a
variety of specialty breads, rolls and wraps such as sesame seared salmon with Asian dressing and roast beef with watercress.
• Au Bon Pain® Soup — Offers a selection of Au Bon Pain® hot and cold soups and chili daily. Look for chicken noodle, wild mushroom bisque or vegetarian old fashioned tomato.
• International — Offers a rotating cycle of popular self-service international foods, such as Thai, Caribbean and Greek, that is sold by the ounce.
• La Plancha Grill — Includes a variety of fresh-grilled foods such as halibut, chicken paillard, marinated calamari and shaved beef sirloin. Additionally, burgers, fries and other traditional grill fare will be featured.
• Pizza/Italian Specialties — Offers a thin crust Neapolitan-style pizza with freshly made dough and varied toppings. Calzones, bruschetta and strombolis are also available.
• Chef’s Table — Features restaurant style selections accompanied by two side dishes. Look for veal Milanese with asparagus risotto and sautéed zucchini or chicken scaloppini with lemon and herbs served with roasted carrots and rice pilaf. Make sure to be early as there are limited quantities.
• Salad & Antipasti Bar — Allows you to build your own salads, sold by the ounce, with our daily market selections of fresh greens, garden vegetables, grains, fresh fruit and authentically prepared marinated antipasti salads such as ratatouille, wild rice with dried cranberries and walnuts, white bean and mushrooms, and green lentil salad.
• Action — Provides made-to-order specials with a theme that rotates weekly between Cucina Latina (inspired by home cooked Latin cuisine), stir fry/noodle bar and customized tossed salad.
