Les Exemples

Pour modifier un verbe:

•Je mange de la pizza.

Je mange beaucoup.

•Elle chante.

Elle chante doucement..

Adverbs that modify verbs answer the question “How?”

ou en français “Comment?”

These adverbs tell you how someone is doing something.

Pour modifier un adjectif:

Il est grand.

Il est très grand.

Je suis timide.

Je suis assez timide.

Adverbs modify an adjective by adding more information to the adjective.

Again, you answer the question “How?”
