Teacher divides students into 6

groups of 5. Each group has to

find a place to sit at science

garden.

Teacher ask:

a) Children, what can you

see around you?

b) Could you see the

animals at the Science

Garden?

c) Could you find the

tadpole in the pond?

Allow students to look at the

tadpole in the pond.

Teacher constructs students to

list out 10 things they can see

in the science garden for 2

minutes.

(Students list down the things

they can see in a group).

Teacher asks students to go

back to the class and sit in the

group given.

picture of animals such as

frog, chick and hen.

Teacher asks:

a) What can you observe

from the picture?

b) What is the relationship

between the caterpillar

with butterfly, tadpole

with frog and chick with

hen?

Teacher tells the students that

today’s lesson is about life

cycles of animals.

Teacher construct the students

to draw a life cycle from the

animals they have listed just

now on drawing pad provided.

(One group for one life cycle)

to do the worksheet.

After they have finished, one

student for each group have to

tell the class the answer for

each question.
