THIS IS MOZART… AS YOUHAVE NEVER HEARD IT BEFORE

2012 - 2013 marks the start of a three year journey, during which we will share with you the dramatic and colourful world of Mozart

concertos. Led by the irrepressible Gábor Takács-Nagy, this will be Mozartwith a vibrancy and lyricism unlike anything you have heard before.

Experience the dark and brooding depths of K466 (Mozart I), the uplifting and joyful K488 (Mozart II) and the daring

virtuosity of K455 (Mozart III). This will be unforgettable Mozart,

    not to be missed.

Alongside this towering genius, we will

also shine a light on Haydn – an extraordinary storyteller,

whose stirring and inspiring talesare brought to life by an orchestra so

ideally suited to both his music and that of his great friend - Mozart. Buy your tickets now.

‘The listener has to feel the emotions of the music, and for that to happen, we musicians must also feel it 100%.’

    Gábor Takács-Nagy

PRE-CONCERT TALKS AND PERFORMANCESMusic has the power to transform people’s lives. Nowhere is this

more evident than in our Learning and Participation Programme. A series of Pre-Concert Performances by local people, sharing newpieces they have created, will show a snapshot into the world of thisinnovative Programme, which reaches over 10,000 people of all ages

and walks of life in the North West.
