And each student decided to

make one!

Our town

Esparreguera is not

very big, but there

are lots of shops!

After a long brainstorm we

discovered that

Esparreguera has got lots

of them!

And, not only shops... schools,

theatre, post office, restaurants,

pubs, parks, ...

With all of them we

invented a new town...

Kingston

Town!

And we made a big display in the school

corridor!

With the help of our

two Language

Assistants (Sharing to

Learn Project) we

spoke a lot!

Irene and Marc helped us

to rehearse and role play

A. Hello, good morning!

B. Is there a (hairdresser) in Kingston Town? Where is it, please?

A. Yes, the hairdresser is in ( Beach Way) next to the (music shop), in

front of the (Supermarket).

B. Ok, thank you very much!

A. You’re welcome!

We practiced some roleplays: Kingston Town, a town full of

shops!!

Q. Where’s the Baker?

A. The Baker’s is in First Avenue, between the

toy shop and the travel agency, opposite the

bank.

Q. What can you buy in a Sports Shop?

A. I can buy a tennis racket, a basketball, ...

Q. I want to buy a book. Where can I go?

A. Oh, you can go to a bookshop.

Q. How many schools are there in Kingston

Town?

A. There are two schools. One is next to the

park. The other is in front of the cinema.A. What are you doing?

B. I’m helping my mum.

A. And, where are you going?

A. I’m going to the fishmonger to buy

sardines.

We recorded the role plays in video. Then, we watched

them and we noticed our “small” mistakes!

It was great fun for all!
