1. WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS:LGoffersyoualimitedwarrantythattheenclosedsubscriberunitanditsenclosedaccessorieswillbefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanship,accordingtothefollowingtermsandconditions:(1)ThelimitedwarrantyfortheproductextendsforTWELVE(12)MONTHSbeginningonthedateofpurchaseoftheproductwithvalidproofofpurchase,orabsentvalidproofofpurchase,FIFTEEN(15)MONTHSfromdateofmanufactureasdeterminedbytheunit'smanufacturedatecode.
(2)Thelimitedwarrantyextendsonlytotheoriginalpurchaseroftheproductandisnotassignableortransferabletoanysubsequentpurchaser/enduser.
LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT
(3)ThiswarrantyisgoodonlytotheoriginalpurchaseroftheproductduringthewarrantyperiodaslongasitisintheU.S.,includingAlaska,Hawaii,U.S.TerritoriesandCanada.
(4)Theexternalhousingandcosmeticpartsshallbefreeofdefectsatthetimeofshipmentand,therefore,shallnotbecoveredundertheselimitedwarrantyterms.
(5)UponrequestfromLG,theconsumermustprovideinformationtoreasonablyprovethedateofpurchase.
(6)ThecustomershallbearthecostofshippingtheproducttotheCustomerServiceDepartmentofLG.LGshallbearthecostofshippingtheproductbacktotheconsumerafterthecompletionofserviceunderthislimitedwarranty.
2. WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:(1)Defectsordamagesresultingfromuseoftheproductinotherthanitsnormalandcustomarymanner.
(2)Defectsordamagesfromabnormaluse,abnormalconditions,improperstorage,exposuretomoistureordampness,unauthorizedmodifications,unauthorizedconnections,unauthorizedrepair,misuse,neglect,abuse,accident,alteration,improperinstallation,orotheractswhicharenotthefaultofLG,includingdamagecausedbyshipping,blownfuses,spillsoffoodorliquid.
(3)Breakageordamagetoantennasunlesscauseddirectlybydefectsinmaterialorworkmanship.
(4)ThattheCustomerServiceDepartmentatLGwasnotnotifiedbyconsumeroftheallegeddefectormalfunctionoftheproductduringtheapplicablelimitedwarrantyperiod.
(5)Productswhichhavehadtheserialnumberremovedormadeillegible.(6)Thislimitedwarrantyisinlieuofallotherwarranties,expressorimpliedeitherinfactorbyoperationsoflaw,statutoryorotherwise,including,butnotlimitedtoanyimpliedwarrantyofmarketabilityorfitnessforaparticularuse.

3. WHAT LG WILL DO:LGwill,atitssoleoption,eitherrepair,replaceorrefundthepurchasepriceofanyunitthatiscoveredunderthislimitedwarranty.LGmaychooseatitsoptiontousefunctionallyequivalentre-conditioned,refurbishedornewunitsorpartsoranyunits.Inaddition,LGwillnotre-installorback-upanydata,applicationsorsoftwarethatyouhaveaddedtoyourphone.Itisthereforerecommendedthatyouback-upanysuchdataorinformationpriortosendingtheunittoLGtoavoidthepermanentlossofsuchinformation.
4. betweentheAAARulesandtherulessetforthinthissection,therulessetforthinthissectionwillgovern.ThisarbitrationprovisionisgovernedbytheFederalArbitrationAct.Judgmentmaybeenteredonthearbitrator’sawardinanycourtofcompetentjurisdiction.Allissuesareforthearbitratortodecide,exceptthatissuesrelatingtothescopeandenforceabilityofthearbitrationprovisionandtothearbitrabilityofthedisputeareforthecourttodecide.Thearbitratorisboundbythetermsofthisprovision.GoverningLaw:ThelawofthestateofyourresidenceshallgovernthisLimitedWarrantyandanydisputesbetweenusexcepttotheextentthatsuchlawispreemptedbyorinconsistentwithapplicablefederallaw.Fees/Costs.Youdonotneedtopayanyfeetobeginanarbitration.Uponreceiptofyourwrittendemandforarbitration,LGwillpromptlypayallarbitrationfilingfeestotheAAAunlessyouseekmorethan$25,000indamages,inwhichcasethepaymentofthesefeeswillbegovernedbytheAAARules.Exceptasotherwiseprovidedforherein,LGwillpayallAAAfiling,administrationandarbitratorfeesforanyarbitrationinitiatedinaccordancewiththeAAARulesandthisarbitrationprovision.Ifyouprevailinthearbitration,LGwillpayyourreasonableattorneys’feesandexpensestotheextentrequiredbyapplicablelaw.Ifthearbitratorfindseitherthesubstanceofyourclaimorthereliefsoughtinthedemandisfrivolousorbroughtforanimproperpurpose(asmeasuredbythestandardssetforthinFederalRuleofCivilProcedure11(b)),thenthepaymentofallarbitrationfeeswillbegovernedbytheAAARules.Insuchasituation,youagreetoreimburseLGforallmoniespreviouslydisbursedbyitthatareotherwiseyourobligationtopayundertheAAARules.Exceptasotherwiseprovidedfor,LGwaivesanyrightsitmayhavetoseekattorneys’feesandexpensesfromyouifLGprevailsinthearbitration.HearingsandLocation.Ifyourclaimisfor$25,000orless,youmaychoosetohavethearbitrationconductedsolelyonthebasisof(1)documentssubmittedtothearbitrator,(2)throughatelephonichearing,or(3)byanin-personhearingasestablishedbytheAAARules.Ifyourclaimexceeds$25,000,therighttoahearingwillbedeterminedbytheAAARules.

What research is needed to decide whether RF exposure from wireless phones poses a
