Water Walk

Sunday, September 26, at 1.15 p.m. — Rain or shine!

Please join Marc Kielburger, co-founder of Free The Children, and members of our congregation, for a community walk to simulate the walks African women and girls take daily to get water for their families. Immediately after the Temple Sukkah party, which begins at 12.15 p.m. in the Philip Smith Congregational Hall, we will meet at the Ava Road entrance, to walk to nearby Cedarvale Park. Everyone is welcome. BYOB (Bring Your Own Bucket or other water carrier). We will supply the water!

Fine Arts Reception

Sunday, October 3, at 2 p.m.

It was a love for colour that originally drew artist Ingrid Kay to painting. Her first creative outlet was fashion design and merchandising, a field in which she had a successful career. Come meet Ingrid and view her work, inspired by nature, light and environment, at a wine and cheese reception in the Harry & Cecile Pearl Gallery. Everyone is welcome.

Out of the Cold

Thursday, October 7, at 6.30 p.m.(Non-members may sign up at 7.30 p.m.)

Please join us for volunteer sign up for our 14th year at Holy Blossom Temple’s Out of the Cold Program. The program begins Thursday, November 4 and runs every Thursday, until March 31, 2011. We need help for shopping, cooking, clothing, set up, serving, clean up, security, entertainment and art, as well as early morning breakfast.
