"Limitless Expressions 2014” International Exhibition, held at the Studio Vogue Gallery in Toronto, Canada, from September 11th - 27th 2014, features a selection of international artists showcasing their best works.
With over 15 years of experience in the art industry in over 64 countries, Vivid Arts Network is well known for its dynamic and extensive links throughout the globe. Its staff travel across the world throughout the year, organizing exhibitions in various cities, attending events and promoting its most talented artists at international events.

The idea here is to boldly brag about my experience and excellence as an Artist,
Photographer and Human Being…to offer deep and intriguing introspection with ‘high-sounding’ words.Really…I’m not that complicated.I would like to visually convey the way art is a NECESSITY to me as it is to you…for those of us who NEED to be surrounded by art that is pleasing…unique…that stirs emotions and attracts the eye. Art that is new…but carries lineage. ..that stops the viewer’s eye to take a second look. Then, to look again, more closely..at technique, contrast, color, composition and finish…
TO BRING A SMILE OF APPRECIATION.One distinguishing characteristic that differentiates and characterizes my work is that I grew-up in the profession ‘shooting’ in black-and-white.

I see images in black-and-white first.I see the shading and contrast before I see color. I see shadow and composition by instinct…not by deep thought or patient planning. My work is spontaneous and instinctual.The ‘finish’ is a process that is more thoughtful and complex. My ‘process’ enhances the contrast…light and shadow…and conveys the impressionistic figurative images you see. I really like to see ‘people’ in their world.I hope that what you see here brings a smile of appreciation to you.

Each wave of the ocean has a story to tell. Each tree branch suggests a poem. There are volumes of mysteries locked inside every glacier.
Traveling the world with my camera, I have sought to reveal the fullness and passionate language of nature through my unique photographs. I grew up in Mexico City and have spent extensive time in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
I have found that just as the spoken word sounds different in every country, so too do the Earth’s far-flung terrains tell their stories in subtly unique ways. It has been my passion to find the distinctive voice of each landscape through my lenses.
Much like a complete poem is more powerful than any single stanza, I o f t e n p r e s e n t m y artwork in the form of a series, giving viewers a story rather than a snapshot and allowing them to take an active role in what they see.
I also employ composite techniques to blend several photographs together, presenting a provocat ive way o f engaging in nature’s tale. The composites,

much like the series, draw viewers in to nature’s chaotic language and challenge one’s sense of reality.
To further the idea of nature’s limitlessness, I present my artwork face mounted behind acrylic. One of the most impressive methods of showcasing photographs, the frameless, borderless mounting allows viewers’ eyes to move fluidly from one image to another. Widely used in museums and galleries, this technique adds a third dimension to two-dimensional images and helps viewers engage more fully in nature’s miraculous, continuous story.

A native of Hamilton On., and a graduate of Queen's University, Donna taught Physical
Education, English, and Art at Moira Secondary School in Belleville for 34 years. Since retirement in 1999, she has become a full time artist, watercolor instructor, avid traveller, and leader of artists' travel vacation workshops.Donna's paintings have been shown to critical acclaim in numerous juried shows, galleries, and art festivals throughout Eastern Ontario. Her style gives the impression of realism and is best known for attention to detail and bold use of colour. Subject matter is inspired by many life-long passions. She has been "Artist-in-the Park" at both Sandbanks and Presqu'ile Provincial Parks and loves to paint in Algonquin as well as in the tranquility of her garden. Travel has inspired many paintings

“Undersea Fantasy”
from Europe to the High Arctic. Years of experience with boats and horses allows for accurate rendering of these within a composition. Horse and pet portraits are a specialty. In some of her more recent paintings, Donna has emphasized pattern and design bordering on semi-abstract through use of unusual colours and juxtapositions. This allows the viewers a flight into fantasy and individual interpretation.
When I paint my aim is not to make the wall look beautiful. I paint because I have something to say
and I need to express it. I want to make people think about what's going on in the world. My artworks often begin with a personal feeling or idea about something I have experienced or observed.As I paint I explore my thoughts and feelings about human life and human relationships on a personal, social, cultural and political level. I mix my ideas and feelings into the paint and use my imagination to find new ways to voice them. My paintings reflect my experience of life; with much light and darkness, some events appearing very clear on the surface, but many hidden agendas going on in the background.Constant themes I explore are ongoing human struggles about identity, dominance, ideological brainwashing, power and powerlessness, betrayal and double-dealing. I work with fluid forms to create a dense texture composed of many portraits,
ranging in size from very large to tiny, some obvious, others hidden deep within the composition. The large portraits provide structure and the smaller portraits are woven into the texture. The large and t iny portraits symbo l i se how s im i l a r patterns of behaviour and events play out in people's personal lives and also at the level of communities, nations and international politics. juxtaposition is also intended to convey my thoughts about the relationship and impact of world events and major ideologies on the conditions of each person's individual experience. Yet although each person experiences their own individual fragment of the world, there is an identifiable range of emotional responses that are part of our shared human condition.Oil is the primary medium. I developed the Turkish Weave, Turkish Whirling and Dissolve techniques by mixing oil paint with alkyds and resins to create my own language of expression that reflects my Turkish cultural heritage. Since 2010 I began painting on carved wood as a means of breaking free from the convention of working within a rectangular frame.Early influences were Bosch, Rembrandt, Picasso, Klee, Kandinsky, and Chagall, but mostly I work from nature.

have always been aware of, and fascinated by Layers in the Natural and Built Environment. Layers in Space and Time. Layers in Intellect, in Emotion. Synthesis and Interpenetration of Form, of Solid and Void, of Chaos and Order, of Simplicity and Complexity.

LeRoi Callwell Johnson of Buffalo, New York has been presenting his artistry for more than 45
years, utilizing his varied thematic tones to craft consistently eye-catching and aesthetically pleasant art forms.
As Mr. Johnson defines his artistic expression as “electric primitive”, his awareness is rooted in the very minimal formal training that he received in a commercial art class while matriculating in the academically oriented Hutchinson Central Technical High School in Buffalo, New York. His interest in drawing and painting was nurtured during his student years, as he oftentimes utilized this hobby as an outlet for balancing his career aspirations at the time. While at Georgetown University Law School in Washington, D.C., it appears that his amateurish instinct culminated into the seeds of his prolific expressionism, having created several innovative geometric paintings during the height of this form’s popularity. Similarly, a large portion of this

artwork would be represented in his first major one-man show in the future.In 1994, LeRoi returned to painting utilizing a form, which blended modernism, pan-africanism, and geometric forms in colorful symbolism. In 1996, LeRoi officially re-introduced his art to the public with the informality of it being showcased in a hair salon owned by his close friend and mentor, Jon Simon. By virtue of the popularity of this salon, LeRoi enjoyed great exposure and receptiveness during this display. One of the salon patrons was Don Metz, then, Director of the Burchfield Penney Art Gallery in Buffalo, a relatively new and growing museum which focused on Western New York artists, with its namesake, Charles Burchfield being instrumental in its development. With Mr. Metz’s leadership, Mr. Johnson’s first One-Man Show was exhibited at Buffalo Niagara Partnership, a first art show for both

Fond memories, warm all around, scramble alongside the hurtful, harsh ones. Enigmatic flashes of past episodes comprise the old, cold remembrances that intertwine effortlessly with the wholesome versions of the nice and good.And so it goes. Our world - our recollection of our past - changes with the influences, the perceptions, the nuances of our present. This past/present relationship is influx and continually evolving. Never static. Never linear, it is a fluid fluctuation of form. My art speaks of this relationship where memories / old thoughts are intermingled, meshed, interconnected, off-set. These then shape and reshape our present view of the world. In the enamel on plexiglass work where the layering of the plexi panels is paramount to the success of the work, light embodies an important component. The light plays with the lines, the swigglies and the shadows – all emphasizing the constant intricacies of change and negotiation that is the hallmark of the work. The energy of the meandering lines, swaying and overlapping; some becoming more powerful, others weaken as

they signify deflection, adaptation and resolution. The lines and shapes that intersect, that intermingle, that empower, that whisper, all contribute to the notion of reflection and contemplation, qualities inherent in the gift of time. As the light touches the configuration of lines and shapes, these very same lines and shapes are constantly in motion, and thus, each teeny-tiny moment registers differently. An alone, single straight line, becomes emboldened by a cluster of convening lines, now stands taller than before. In the midst of it all. The contours, the curvilinear lines converge to make a new form, a new ‘shape’ of ideas. These new lines and formations continue to constantly evolve and transform. Such variation and inflection temper our conjectures of any given tiny moment.
To recast and reconstruct is its undeniable stability.Our memory, as is our mindset, is ever changing, always morphing. This is the fodder from which we fathom our here and now, and along the way, our future.A cyclical, neverending ray of acknowledgement. From all the wishes, regrets, t r i u m p h s , s e c r e t s , w o n d e r m e n t s , h o p e s , gratitudes, we are all a culmination - that contribute to our fidelity, our essence of today.

Olivia Kapoor is a Chicago born, visionary artist that creates Psychedelic art.In 2009, She was the National Winner of the' Measles Vaccination Initiative Art Competition, which was organized for that year, only. Shortly thereafter, in 2010, Kapoor earned her Associates Degree in Art [thru Paradise Valley Community College]. For Olivia, she realized she wanted to be an artist from the time when she was first in kindergarten.. Her mother asserted Olivia to bring home a painting [from school] with the entire paper covered, with paint. "When I was younger, in grade school, I spent more time coloring in the shapes and objects of my worksheets (as a way to relax) than actually filling out and completing them." Also as a child, Kapoor collected rocks and fossils, which inspired her ebullient and unplanned

perception. Olivia Kapoor's work explores the broader constructs of times, which is why she describes her paintings as futuristic; various depths and layers contain images of great detail.Her work is known for fields of bright colors, varied textures, and rigorously done geometric patterns, placed along side other freely drawn images. Each work is a true abstract that conveys rhythm of color thru repetition, and stroke. Olivia's work is dreamlike and pure visual expressionism. Her two greatest interests, artistically are pattern and surrealism. She largely uses acrylics, ink and crayon [on canvas].

My work focuses on relationships, relationships between people and relationships that people build with the environment in which they find
themselves.
I want to explore how buildings and shapes influence how I see my environment as a whole. I believe that exposure to new places and environments leads to a greater world understanding.
I want my work to raise questions, for people to ask how the environment they are in affects them, to consider the influence a physical place can have on mood, health, and interpersonal relationships.

I ask questions as I work, such as “How does space influence how I produce work?”, and “How does the building I see everyday from my studio influence how I see positive and negative space in my printed/painted images?”. Will using a certain color change the personality of a building?

”Tradition is Progress without Denying the Roots.”The ”New Vision” of the 1920th was an act of liberation against the photographic prospects without
disregarding the technical basics – even the ”Bauhäusler” used photometers. Behrmann’s master craftsman in Dessau, who was taught by a Bauhaus-Photographer himself, gave him an idea of what objective photography can express. Based on this he left the experimental work and developed an iconology in his work to report about life. His theme is man, his life and the infinite of being levels. Even if you cant see man on his pictures, he‘s still there. His presence is shown by absence – this is what he is working out. Roland Behrmann was born in 1954 in Dessau, Germany, in the former GDR. As a son of a merchant in a state of workers and farmers he grew up in an unfree and threatening environment. After school he
started an apprenticeship. His master craftsman in Dessau, who was taught by a Bauhaus photographer himself, told him never to leave his self-idendity and never subordinate artistic standing points to political regulations.After phases at Halle and L e i p z i g h e b e c a m e a professional photographer with his own studio in Zerbst. Because of his attitude against the gouvernment he tried to leave the GDR in a legal way, but led to increasing conflict with the secret police and in 1984 he was ja i l ed as a po l i t i ca l opponent at Halle a.d. Saale. After one year under arrest and

forced labor he was sold to the Federal Republic of Germany, FRG. There he continued his career as a photographer under new conditiones. Since 1995 he has taught at the University of Applied Sience in Mannheim. In 2010 he graduated at the University of Heidelberg with a Magister Atrium in History of Arts, History and German Philologie to write articles about the theories of photography. Now he lives with his family in Mannheim.
All prints are completely processed by the photographer himself. He only uses black-and white material. Sometimes he works with toning. The vintages are enlarged on barites-paper and put in a frame. After the print is finished, the negative will be destroyed. The edition is only limited to one print. Only a few are printed twice. If you buy the print, you will get a certificate to prove it.

Art-making is a journey of personal discovery. Italy has become my muse. The landscape, the ancient buildings, the scented air and rolling hills, the spectacular wildflowers in an array of vivid colours, the language, the relaxed lifestyle, the regional music and opera, all make my heart soar. Painting involves all the senses.Every painting I create tells a story about the wonders of nature, the gifts of mankind throughout the ages, the slower rhythms of life and the moments frozen in time. The experience of developing a landscape is one of joy, delight, learning and freedom.My subjects move through memory to the canvas by way of the heart. I remember exactly where I was, every detail − the time of
day, the music, the lustre of the Chianti grapes outside my window. Every time I finish, I can’t believe how much time had passed; I wish that it would never end. Fortunately, there are always more paintings waiting within me; art has opened up my world.

After a 30 year career as a Nurse, my life has taken a new path as an Artist. I continue to work
as a nurse and I am lucky to find that happy balance between my art and my work as a nurse.My long career as a nurse, coupled with the death of my mother in my childhood has had a profound influence on me. Not only as growing up from a child to a woman, but also spiritually as part of my life journey. I believe things happen for a reason, and I feel strongly that I am meant to be an artist.My work has tended to be in one of two mediums, Oil, or Pen & ink. I am an expressive artist and I use my art to portray my feelings and emotions. At present I am working more in pen & ink form.My Pen & Ink works are a form of Zen Meditation using the circle in a repetitive manner as a means of shading and providing form and tone to the piece. My work is an expressive abstract form

mainly figurative, but I am also exploring more abstract method in the form of Zentangles. The figurative pen & ink works are both literal and abstract. They concern dissimulation, and how true feelings can be hidden behind a mask. I use the female figurative form in an abstract way using pen and ink and the Zen meditation art.For the abstract pen & ink works, I develop patterns and shapes using different designs which are totally random. I find this very relaxing and can totally disappear into my work. In general, I like to think of my work as dealing with the spirituality of both the artist and the subject, containing both a calming influence and emotive feeling through the atmospheric nature of the subject.

I paint with various media, these days mostly with oils on canvas. I love colours and like to have
them in my paintings, yet not forgetting how effective and beautiful black and white are.I like to make visual art. I tell stories to spectators about everything in my world. I paint people and pots, flowers and fruits.

I try to play with my brush on canvas but still take my work seriously which is not a very easy combination. My training in Chinese Brush Painting effects the composition in my works as well as I identify feelings of animals and plants to feelings of people. I paint with my heart and soul.

Inspired by Zen, ancient Chinese philosophy and Western philosophy, Wei Xiong’s expansive oil paintings linger in spiritual and postmodern idioms with provocative power. Formerly a Fashion Designer based in Los Angeles, Xiong’s careful compositions dabble in the expressivelanguage of visual poetry. Subtle beds of hazy shading give way to dynamic scribbles and crystall ine watery slopes. Artist Wei Xiong was born in Chengdu, China and currently splits her time between Los Angles and Chengdu. The artist has shown in solo and group exhibitions professionally in Taiwan, China and the U.S. and is included in public collections in China’s Yue Hu Museum and the Blue Roof Museum.

Born into a family of artists, WENDY CARMICHAEL BAULD is reminded of how she awed at the privilege of being surrounded by her Grandmother's numerous
paintings throughout the family home, which only served as a natural progression of aspiring to being an artist. With the arts intertwined throughout her life, for CARMICHAEL BAULD, it translated to having the innate ability to treat a variety of subjects and styles with equal skill and flair, moving freely between figurative, landscapes and abstraction, revealing a palpable joy in the act of creation. CARMICHAEL BAULD’S paintings are grounded in classical drawing, as an atmospheric softness and clarity is woven into the strength of each expressive brushstroke and crisp considered edge. CARMICHAEL BAULD is very much an experimental artist yet manages to balance aesthetic euphoria with universal awareness, which is an essential part of the artist's creative process. Recently a CEO of a large corporation purchased 21 of her original paintings and commissioned a further four. A total of 25 currently line the walls of the posh venue in near Toronto.Canada’s MCMASTER UNIVERSITY GALLERY & MUSEUM acquired 3 of CARMICHAEL BAULD’S original paintings, which are now part of their permanent collection. THE ART GALLERY OF HAMILTON is also home to many of her works.In 2009, the artist was chosen at a formal civic ceremony from a group of several nominees in the affluent City of Burlington, winning the prestigious, coveted "ARTS PERSON OF THE YEAR" award. Donations of her work, to over fifteen different charities have resulted in pulling in over $50,000. The artist explains “ my goal is to bring social change through beauty and truth with art, and its ability to enhance our lives and communities in a profound way, has been a gift”, adding “the revenue it has generated through donations, has been the most gratifying achievement to date"

CARMICHAEL BAULD’S passion is not only painting but in science and music which have also served to enhance her ability to fulfill her dreams of being a painter. The artist pours through books on quantum theory by greats such as Albert Einstein, Max Planck and of course Stephen Hawking. These brilliant minds and profound books on the subject, such as Power Verses Force and Divine Matrix have infused her self awareness with the concept that through visualization of thought, one manifests their reality, which further adds to the overall positive experience of being in that creative zone. To the artist, this is a parallel component in her work and along with music, a necessary element to her success as an artist. CARMICHAEL BAULD adds, "being creative takes me to a higher level of consciousness, into an almost meditative state and it becomes a spiritual journey and a connection between balance, harmony and peace.
