Brooke Roman

Brooke - the EFB team is so happy to have you as our intern. You have jumped right in and helped us so much already. We look forward to working with you for the rest of the semester! - Amy Ashkinazy

Madie Leon

Madie Leon assisted with a KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis story highlighting Flight Attendant Training at SWA U! See the story here: http://fox2now.com/2015/02/03/go-inside-southwest-airlines-flight-attendant-training/ - Emily Samuels

Culture Interns

Viva LAS Interns! Shout out to our Culture Interns

Marisa, Dana, and Rebecca for their support not on-ly at the LAS Rally but all four others as well! As Elv-is once said, “Thank you very much.” - Sam Leyendecker

Amal Lakhani

As a Supply Chain Intern, Amal continues to learn how SWA operates on the Boeing 737. Aircraft component de-sign and function will soon be her forte. We are excited to work with Amal! - Kristina Giamportone

Julliet Okeke

Julliet is evaluating task card change requests by analyzing the applicability, effectiveness and efficiency of the request against regulations and estab-lished maintenance require-ments. This has a direct impact on both the safety and the cost of performing maintenance on our aircraft and ensures that we have a compliant program to satisfy FAA guidelines.

- Mike Hansen

Chen Zhang

I would like to give a roaring shout-out to Chen Zhang. A big help here in the Tax Department. Also a budding chef (look out Gordon Ramsey !) and very good accountant. Best of luck on the CPA exam Chen! - Don Barnhart

Rashida Sheffield

Don't let Rashida's quiet exterior fool ya. She's a quick learner, asks great questions and gets the job done! Blessed to have her on the Team! - Dan Duren

I am so lucky to be Rashida’s men-tor during her internship at SWA U! From day one, I knew that she was one smart cookie! I had no doubt that she would be ready to jump right into curriculum development work and be a phenomenal asset to the Center of Excel-lence Team. Her insights, questions, and ability to absorb new informational are all top notch. I am truly enjoying working with and getting to know her. I adore her self-proclaimed “nerdiness!” She’s a shy one, but her personal-ity shines brighter every day and that sparkling smile is undeniable! You’re just simply SWAwesome, Ra-shida! HUGS! - Debbie Schmith

Anutosh Saxena

Anutosh jumped right in on day one of his internship by creating a training man-ual for CR, Ground Ops and Inflight for how to use Passbook as a mobile board-ing pass. In a matter of just two days he created a thorough manual explaining what Passbook is and how it will be used

by our Customers and impact the operation. His can-do attitude was a much-needed addition to the team. –Tom Finley

Leon Spencer

We are grateful to have Leon Spencer on our Team. Since joining us, Leon has been responsible for auditing contracts in Ariba, managing our Supplier Diversity Inbox, assisting current Suppliers in the identification of their North American Classification System Code, and register-ing potential Southwest Suppliers. Be-tween flying to Houston every Tuesday to make his night class at the University

Houston – Downtown, and flying back on the first flight to Dallas to be at his desk every Wednesday morning, Leon’s dedication to developing both professionally and academi-cally is visibly apparent. Leon has been simply a joy to work alongside – if you see him around be sure to ask him for the joke of the day! - The Supplier Diversity Team (Pam & Lanae)
