The portrait painter-turned-chef began his TV career with the BBC’s What to Eat Now - a show focussed on eating according to the season. Valentine has been a chef for Great British Food Revival (BBC Two), Love Your Garden with Alan Titchmarch (ITV 1), Country Show Cook Off (BBC Two), Perfect… (Good Food) and My Kitchen (Good Food).

As well as being authors of the international bestselling cookbook The Art of Eating Well and contributors to Vogue.co.uk, Jasmine and Melissa Hemsley cook and consult for celebrities and high-profile events around the world and have catered for the likes of Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Vivienne Westwood and are regulars on TV shows such as This Morning. Their philosophy is simple: Eat well to feel better - wellness begins from within.
A fourth-generation builder from North London, Richard became an unlikely culinary celebrity after starring in the BBC’s Great British Bake-Off in 2014. He was named ‘star baker’ a record-breaking five times, and appeared in the series final, coming second. His first recipe book - ‘B.I.Y. - Bake it Yourself’ was also released in August.
After honing her skills in Parisian bookstore and tea salon, La Cocotte, London-born Rachel Khoo began a successful career as a food writer and then TV chef. Her first cookery show The Little Paris Kitchen was aired on BBC 2 in 2012 and has since been shown around the world.

Liverpool Food and Drink Festival are bringing another of our popular wine tasting evenings to the beautiful Sefton Park Palm House on Wednesday 23rd September.
Visitors to the event will have opportunity to sample more than 100 different wines from around the world and take part in masterclasses from some of the region’s top wine experts.
There will also be a selection of delicious cheeses on offer to try out.
Whether you’re an occasional wine drinker or real wine connoisseur, the evening is open to everyone to come to enjoy the food, drink and live music on offer.

Courgette In The City are a Liverpool south enterprise who are highlighting the importance of “grow your own” and healthy living in this year’s festival Children’s Area.
