trials. This was the last type 42 Destroyer to remain in service. Launched in 1980 by Cammell

Laird at Birkenhead and Decommissioned in 2012.

106 2 letter “R” metal signs. The vendor believes these to be used by BR (Southern) at some goods 30

Yards when they were provided with overhead wires in the 1950s. To enable DC locomotives

Fitted with pantographs to shunt these yards without the need of a third rail.

At the point where the pantograph was to be raised the letter “R” was displayed (Raise).

Taff Vale Rly and a committed Christian left a legacy of £100.00 for Bibles, New Testaments &

Psalm books to be left at stations and signal boxes along the line. Slight damage to spine and

first few pages missing. A rare survivor.

188 Card mini poster "The Old Firm" Bus Company from Swindon (Wilts), Wartime service 36

restrictions. This company operated from Wroughton Nr Swindon they had their depot at

Spencer's Farm and ran a service to Temple Street in Swindon. It was run by the Hawkins family

and was taken over by The Bristol Omnibus Co in 1955. Headed WAR TIME EMERGENCY

from 23rd Sept 1939. In VGC.
