    Legal Outsourcing: Scope Of Activities

    Paralegal Support:Document Processing,production and management(includes word processing, legal transcription,legal coding, document conversion, keywordand XML tagging and archiving

    Legal Support:Drafting and revising contracts/ agreements:E mployee contracts, Non disclosure contracts,licensing and supplier agreements etc are initiallydrafted by trained Indian Lawyers and sent for review to US attorney.

    Legal Research: Lawyers sift through large

    quantities of data using electronic database and theInternet, to provide focused research to law firmsand attorneys. Legal research is conducted for allsorts of US laws including case and statutory law.

    Legal Counsel: O utsourced legal counsel servicesfor an in-house firm (with or without legaldepartment) or a legal firm, encompass most of theareas: Antitrust, bankruptcy, construction, Corporate,Criminal and civil rights etc.

    Patent Services:Patent research and analysis : Landscape studies, patent appraisalsand valuation studies, infringement analysis and prior art searching.Patent application drafting: V arious stages of filing of patentapplication (prior art searches, patentability assessment, patentlandscaping, drafting specifications, drawings etc) may be outsourced toan Indian Party.
