CCMI - Group II &Category 2 involvement in the last year (2012-2013)
Adopted
The importance of the own initiative for the CCMIThe importance of the own initiative for the CCMI
The importance of own initiative in the activity of the CCMI is of a paramount importance for the following reasons:
they represent the main source of the CCMI activity (50% in the last year but an higher value in the past);
they are originated by the input coming from the strong and continuous connection of the CCMI with the main European sectoral trade unions;
the same link make more effective also the diffusion and the follow up of the results of the CCMI work;
although it is understandable the effort to plan the EESC activities to avoid duplication and confusion, the CCMI need to be maintained in the condition to introduce own initiative opinions.
the EESC Bureau should also maintain the positive trend to allocate more referrals to the CCMI, particularly the ones related to industrial change in the manufacturing and services sectors and to industrial policy.
