Mercoline’s M.SecureTrade Export Control offers companies a fully-integrated export solution for their SAP ERP systems. The application is designed to quickly and easily execute and monitor complex ex-port control checks of master data and business pro-cesses. Features include…

• National embargo check: Manage all country-specifi c embargos and automatically check them against the partner roles of your choice in SAP documents.

• Critical goods check: Check your material mas-ter data and SD documents against imported goods lists. Automate checks by using batch runs or have process checks actively running in the background (e.g. when creating orders). Easi-ly implement your own blacklists and whitelists to include or exclude hits.

• End use check (dual-use): Use the export con-trol monitor to analyse the summary report (hits). Decide on the basis of extensive list information (e.g. export measures/instructions) whether an article’s intended use means that it requires a permit. Block or unblock SAP documents and log your decisions.

• Creation and management of export permits: Initiate the creation of export permits from ins-pection documents. Optionally, manage your per-mits (AGG, EAG) and log all of the related proce-dures.

Secure, automatic checks.All required goods lists can be scanned automatically with the M.SecureTrade Export Control import capa-bilities. The application uses the TARIFFS Export data package as its benchmark. This data is based on the EU’s TARIC2 database and is provided by the German Federal Gazette. Export Control’s fl exible framework also gives you the option to easily access other (black) lists. Material and document check schedules can be

individually adjusted so that they occur on a regular basis (batch job) or automatically within a particular process, such as the creation or change of SD docu-ments (order, delivery). When the classifi cation (e.g. the statistical goods number) and the destination country for the object in question match those in the goods or embargo lists, order and delivery blocks are automati-cally triggered for the individual customer.

Monitor progress and make decisions with a com-prehensive overview.M.SecureTrade Export Control uses flexible inspection logic to determine which materials or material positions in SAP documents are relevant for the check. With the Export Control monitor, employees and managers have access to all of the generated Export Check Do-cuments (ECDs) at a single glance. Here you will also find pertinent follow-up information such as restriction summaries, document codes, existing permits and whitelist entries. This information can then be used to responsibly change the ECD status or to block/unblock SAP documents.

Conduct ad hoc checks on material and goods numbers.Need to know immediately whether export restrictions apply for a particular material or goods number? In-stead of searching external portals like EZT-Online, you can conduct your check directly in SAP ERP with our manual search tool. M.SecureTrade Export Control offers a clear overview of all of the possible export re-striction details, such as export measures/instructions, footnotes, export list texts or ATLAS codes.

Greater security in foreign trade checks All checks (i.e. not just hits) are logged directly in the ECD document. This enables you to instantly deter-mine why an inspection was conducted and why a hit was generated. In addition, the application automati-cally saves all status changes and document creations carried out via generic object services (GOS).

SAP logs document all changes to an ECD document at the field level. This ensures the security you need for transaction authorisations and authorisation objects.

Check permit obligations with ease.Not all hits dictate blocking an order or delivery. Whi-le all hits from a material or document check must be inspected closely by the responsible export personnel, M.SecureTrade Export Control expedites this process by generating customizable check profiles. You decide whether national embargos or your own whitelist ent-ries should be used when identifying hits.

Generate ATLAS documentation recommendations. M.SecureTrade Export Control can also determine the existing ATLAS codes for ATLAS exports via materi-al position and forward them to ATLAS software (e.g. M.ATLAS). Additional data (e.g. BAFA reference num-bers) can also be provided upon request. This saves you both the time and the effort of filling in the ATLAS docs, as well as helps avoid technical error notifica-tions from customs authorities.
