INTRODUCTION

Did you ever wonder why 785 years ago the taxes where high and how now they arent so high? The Magna Carta was a document signed by King Jhon in June 1215 and it took place at England. The Barons forced King Jhon to sign the Magna Carta. By making King Jhon sign the Magna Carta reducing his power, led to his incredible practices today. If the Barons wouldn’t force King Jhon to sign the Magna Carta, taxes would still be so big today.

If King Jhon wouldn’t Lost in Normandy he woudn’t impose new taxes on the Knights and the Magna Carta wouldn’t exist. King Jhon was defeated at Battle of Bouvines and he told everyone that he was a Vassal of the Pope.

ACCOMPLISHMENTSThe Magna Carta was a great

acomplishment because it helped lower taxes. The Barons taked a good desicion by making King Jhon sign the Magna Carta.if the Barons wouldn't make King Jhon sign the Magna Carta, the taxes wouldn't decrease for the Knights and today hey would be high. And maybe people couldn't pay it. If they wouldn'y lost in Normandy the feudal and royal rights wouldn't explote.

What made them famous was that Barons forced King Jhon to sign it. What also helped was that when he lost in the Battle of Bouvines he needed to assemble all the Barons in Runnymede. Pope Innocent annulled it. The child name Henry lll reissued it and it was canceled by the Parliament. Later they secured the government by tyranny.

OUTLINEThe major difficulties faced by King

Jhon where. When occured the lost of Normandy because feudal and royal rights went down.That caused that Knights had to pay higher taxes. By that cause the Magna Carta appeared. If that wouldn’t happen taxes would be high today.

Another difficulty was when they lost the Battle of Bouvines and King Jhon told everyone he was a Vassal of the Pope. Later later it was anulled by king and Innocent lll. The child named Henry lll reprint it. It was canceled by what is named Parliament. It secured government.

IMPORTANCE

The Magna Carta was very important because if the Barons wouldn’t force King Jhon to sign the Magna Carta the taxes will still be very high. Maybe people today couldn’t afford to pay it. The Magna Carta helped the development of the government. It also helped to secure government.

BENEFITSThe efforts of King Jhon and the

barons where grate. It helps the people that can’t pay them. It makes stronger the justice. You can buy more food and clothe because the taxes aren’t so high. It helped reduced the power of the king with the taxes.
