NIKE SPORTSWEAR ADVERT
In this advert it shows establishing shots of all different locations this is one
influence I will gain from this advert. This is because by using different locations
for my sports wear adverts will create a more active vibe as well as allowing
myself to use different shot types to show the different locations that have been
used. Furthermore in this advert the editing of the location shots have been edited
to be black and white. This is another influence that I will gain from this advert as it
makes the locations stand out from the other shots. The use of converting these
shots to black and white also makes this advert look very professional and stand
out from all the other sport adverts in the media industry. Therefore making this
advert very recognizable to its audience which will make the product sell better as
the popularity will be higher.
NIKE SPORTSWEAR ADVERT
Another influence I have gained from this Nike sportswear advert is the
close up shots that have been used. The composition and framing of
these shots are very accurate and framed to show the exact amount of
imagery in them. These are also ideas of close up shots that I can do in
my sportswear adverts as they are very affective and can be used a lot to
create a fast pace in the adverts. Furthermore from researching a lot on
sports wear adverts using close up shots and extreme close up shots as
one of the main conventions in the genre sport therefore I will be using the
influence of these shots in my own adverts. I especially like how the close
up shots below show other features as well for example the woman’s hair
and hand is shown as well. This makes these close up photographs very
different and also allowing the audience to connect more as for example
the women audience will see what it will look like on other women
therefore having an idea before even trying it on.
LIGHT. STRONG. NIKE. FLYKNIT (ADVERT)
The main influences that I gain from this advert is firstly the editing
technique of slow motion. This technique is used frequently in this
advert to slow down the pace to allow the audience to admire and see
much clearer the sports wear. The slow motion also emphasizes the
skill and determination that the sportswear does which will make the
target audience want to buy the sports wear to get an excellent
performance out of it. In this advert the use of the camera movement tilt
is also used frequently as this allows the movement to be seen as well
as the whole of the sports wear outfit to be shown. Tilt is a camera
movement that I have identified in a lot of the sportswear adverts I have
viewed therefore I have practiced this camera movement a lot to make
sure it is perfect when I come to shooting my two adverts.

Another influence I gain from this advert is the use of vibrant colors
these are shown in all the camera shots below. The idea of using vibrant
colors allows the audience to be drawn to the advert instantly as the
colors become very eye catching and stand out. Furthermore by also
using vibrant colors creates a more fun and exciting atmosphere. This
shows its consumers that these sports clothing aren't just for competing
seriously or professional but can also be worn to keep happy and active.
The sportswear range that I will be providing for my adverts contain very
bright and luminous colors which shows the inspiration I have gained as
I am involving the key conventions for the genre sport in my adverts.
LIGHT. STRONG. NIKE. FLYKNIT (ADVERT)
The influence that I get from this advert is the titles and their transitions.
This is because the titles are very bold and are capitalized which make
them stand out. Also the transition of the titles are that they appear
fading in one at a time. I feel that this is a main influence to me because
for both of my adverts I will be using titles at the beginning and end of
my adverts. Furthermore I also really like the way the titles have been
edited on the background of the basketball pitch flooring. This makes the
titles look different and still continue with the theme of sport as the
advertisement is advertising sportswear and trainers.
ADIDAS RUNNING- THE NEW ENERGY BOOST
This advert stood out to me out of all the adverts I have looked at. This is
because as well as using different locations and sharp close up shots to
produce an intense advert. This producer has used different shots in-
between the female running. For example quick snaps of a party
atmosphere. This makes this advert more exciting and unique as it breaks
up the continues movement shots to grab the audiences attention instantly.
By also doing this allows the young target audience of 18-24 to appeal to
this advert more therefore persuading them to buy the sportswear and
trainers. In my second advert I have an idea of the using the movement of
a horse in between the close up and movement shots to show my
inspiration I have gained. As well as showing difference in my advert
compared to my first one.
ADIDAS RUNNING- THE NEW ENERGY BOOST
Another influence I get from this advert is the interaction that it has.
This is because the two squares below are hyperlinked so that the
audience can go to the actual website if viewing this advert online or
on You tube. I also like how the writing is white and the background is
black because this creates a professional monochrome affect which is
very appealing even though it doesn't’t contain any vibrant colors.
Furthermore I also gain influence from the symbol being positioned in
the corner for every individual shot included. This allows the audience
to recognize the company all the way through and is a good way to
advertise a company that isn't well known. Therefore in my adverts I
will be doing this because I am a new company.
