Study on Social and Emotional Skills (SSES)

Thank you for taking part in the SSES study.

The Study on Social and Emotional Skills aims to assess the social and emotional skills of students at

multiple international locations, and to examine the factors in students’ home, school and community

environments that promote or hinder development of these skills.

All information collected will be kept strictly confidential. To ensure that your privacy is maintained, only

combined results from the study as a whole will be analysed and reported. No individual information will be

released to any person or department except at your written request and on your authorisation.

Participation in this study is voluntary. You are free to withdraw from the study at any time or choose not to

take part. Please continue if you agree to take part.

There are no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ answers. Please answer each question as best as you can.

PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS Use black pen when completing this form.

If a mistake is made, correct it this way: Leave answer circles blank if you cannot or do not wish to respond.
