Designer Peter J. Lassen GRID arose from Peter J. Lassen’s ambition to design an interior system with unprecedented adaptability for the user, be it commer-cial or artistic. An interior system that is a visual expression without compromising on functionality. The design reflects the inspiration Peter J. Lassen draws from art: “Good art never fully reveals itself. There is always another layer, another interpretation – we never become tired of art or nature because there is always another angle.”

GRID entstand aus Peter J. Lassens Anspruch, ein Inneneinrich-tungssystem mit beispielloser Flexibilität für den Benutzer zu schaf-fen, sei es für den kommerziellen oder den künstlerischen Bereich. Ein System mit visuellem Ausdruck und kompromisslos in seiner Funktionalität. Das Design geht einher mit Peter J. Lassens Inspi-ration aus der Kunst: „Gute Kunst zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass sie sich niemals vollständig offenbart – es gibt immer noch eine wei-tere Ebene, noch eine weitere Interpretation – wir werden der Kunst oder der Natur nie müde, da es immer eine neue Perspektive gibt.“

GRID est né de l’ambition de Peter J. Lassen de concevoir un sys-tème d’agencement doté d’une adaptabilité sans précédent pour l’utilisateur, que ce soit pour un usage commercial ou artistique. Un système d’agencement qui consiste en une expression visuelle sans toutefois compromettre sa fonctionnalité. Son design est en rapport avec l’inspiration que Peter J. Lassen puise dans l’art : « Ce qui caractérise une bonne œuvre d’art est le fait de ne jamais se révéler pleinement – il y a toujours un autre niveau, une autre interprétation – on ne se lasse jamais de l’art ou de la nature car il y a toujours un autre angle de vue ».

Technical details The lightweight GRID modules, available in black or white, are the building blocks of the system. A GRID module measures 40 x 40 x 40 cm with a 12 mm nylon (PA6) fibreglass frame. The modules can be connected with other GRID modules or components such as drawers, corkboards, magazine shelves, whiteboards, upholstered seats or plant boxes. That’s what awards GRID its iconic adaptability.

Technische DetailsDie leichten GRID-Module, erhältlich in Schwarz oder Weiß, sind die Bausteine des Systems. Ein GRID-Modul misst 40 x 40 x 40 cm und be-steht aus einem 12 mm fiberglasverstärkten Nylonrahmen (PA6). Die Module können mit an-deren GRID-Modulen oder Komponenten, wie Regalböden, Regalseiten, Schubladen, Kork-/Pinnwänden, Filzeinsätzen, Zeitschriftenregalen, Whiteboards, Polstersitzen oder Pflanzenkästen kombiniert werden. Das zahlreiche Zubehör er-möglicht GRID seine flexible Multifunktionalität.

Détails techniquesLes modules légers, disponibles en noir ou en blanc, sont les éléments constitutifs du système GRID. Un module GRID mesure 40 x 40 x 40 cm et son cadre de 12mm est composé de poly- amide (PA6) renforcé de fibre de verre. Les modules peuvent être connectés entre eux ou bien avec d’autres composants GRID tels que des tiroirs, des panneaux de liège, des porte- revues, des tableaux blancs, des assises ou des jardinières, ce qui confère à GRID son adapta-bilité iconique.
