"I've been a victim of eve-teasing and harassment and it's trau- matic. I'm lucky I have beautiful parents who gave me strength when I needed it," she wrote. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had also shared the same article which is about an anonymous girl troubled by her former boy- friend. IS SRK ENTERING POLITICS? MUMBAI, (PTI) Shah Rukh Khan is seen contesting an election in his latest release "Raees", but in real life the superstar says he wants to steer clear of politics as he does not understand that domain. "Raees" features the 51-year-old actor as a bootlegger in Gujarat whose busi- ness is challenged and eventually thwarted by a police officer, played by actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. When asked if, like his character in the recently released crime-thriller, he would be open to joining politics, Shah Rukh said he would rather be an actor than anyone else. "I do this (acting), I can't do that(politics). If I start doing that, then jaan hi nikal jayegi meri toh. I don't know that job, nor do I want to do it, I am not associated with it and I don't want to," he said. Shah Rukh was speaking at the success bash of the film here last night. He was joined by the film's cast, including Nawwzuddin and Sunny Leone. The "Fan" actor showered praise on Leone and said that though he wears a serious expression all throughout 'Laila O Laila' song, he really wanted to dance with the actress. "We just want to say we love her, she is fantastic. All of us wanted you to be in that song and we love the fact that you were a part of it," he told Leone. "My biggest problem was I was serious in the song. I was about to trouble someone and all this while I was like 'forget that, I want to dance on 'Laila main Laila. We can fight later but I want to dance with Sunny'," he said. The Rahul Dholakia directed film also became the talking point for the entry sequence of Nawazuddin, who is introduced doing a Micheal Jackson dance step. On being quizzed about the scene, the "Haramkhor" actor said, "I didn't know it would be on a song. They made me practice a lot, only then I could do those steps." Shah Rukh and the "Gangs of Wasseypur" actor later danced on the song and did a few steps from Nawazuddin's introductory scenes. instead of bowing down she chooses to fight back. The "Nil Battey Sannata" actress said she was closely associated with the pre-production and making of the film. "I have never worked so hard on any film as I have on "Anaarkal...". I have got injured, fell sick, had a breakdown and everything while filming and yet strangely I never lost faith in this project," she adds. According to the debutant director Avinash Das the germ of the idea for this film came when YouTube was just launched and he had heard a sensuous and erotic number sung by Tarabano Faizabadi, who had no expression on her face and that's how the idea of "Anarkali of Arrah" developed. SUDDEN BAN ON PAKISTANI ARTISTS UNFAIR: RISHI KAPOOR KOLKATA, (IANS) Known to call a spade a spade, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has pulled up authorities for confusing filmmakers on the issue of casting Pakistani actors post the terror attack on the Uri cantonment in Jammu and Kashmir last September. In a candid interview to IANS on the sidelines of the just-concluded Tata Steel Kolkata Literary Meet, Bollywood's "Chintoo Uncle" said it was unfair to suddenly ban artists from Pakistan and there should be a cut-off date on such diktats for film productions to fall in line. The Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association (IMPPA) had banned Pakistani actors, singers and technicians from working on Indian films in the wake of Uri attacks and the volatile situation in Kashmir. "Films are not planned in one or three days. It takes time. You can't say that you're going to ban a picture," fumed Kapoor, who acted with Pakistan star Fawad Khan in his last hit "Kapoor & Sons". "You've been working for the last six months. These are unfair rulings and bullying tactics. You must give a cut-off period. It gives us time to finish our films and henceforth we will not take them. "Sometimes some skirmish happens in the border and your whole thinking goes wrong. Sometimes you shake hands and say go ahead. You're confusing your country, people. "Either you shake hands or don't shake hands. Why does Modi have to go to Pakistan and shake hands when you know skirmishes will happen," Kapoor said picking on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's surprise visit to Pakistan in December 2015 to meet his counterpart Nawaz Sharif. Pakistan actress Mahira Khan fell victim to the IMPPA ruling when she could not promote her debut Bollywood flick "Raees" with Shah Rukh Khan here. Kapoor recently received a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in "Kapoor & Sons", a story of a dysfunctional family where the 64-year old actor plays the grandfather. ZAALIMA1RAEES'Kung Fu Yoga': It's good fun

topCAST: JACKIE CHAN, SONU SOOD, DISHA

PATANI, AMYRA DASTUR

DIRECTED BY: STANLEY TONG

STARRING: ****

The worst crime you can accuse a Jackie Chan film of is silliness. "Kung Fu Yoga" is supremely silly. But like Jackie's filmsin the past, it is a whole lot of fun if you are in the mood for some

goofy antics. The film's utterly implausible plot opens with a great big"Baahubali" styled battle between Chinese and Indian forces. I sug-gest you hold your horses... err... elephants, because the preamble ismost decidedly not the best of beginnings for an adventure saga thatveers from the violently unbelievable to the intensely funny, some-time achieving the extremities in the same sequence. But that's Jackie Chan for you. The merger of mir th and mayhem inhis personality is achieved with so little stress and so much exuber-ance that it takes very little for us to believe this super-enter tainer isstill enjoying himself, dishing out the dolled-up drollery with the dev-ilishly disarming joy of self-discovery. For the record, Jackie Chan is,don't laugh, an archeologist this time. Not that it matters what heplays. No matter what his vocation, the mission is to set the worldright, break bones and bridge fences. This time, he is surrounded bya bevy of nubile Chinese and Indian beauties who have nothing betterto do than to giggle and wriggle and sometimes throw in a few punches. The punches and the punchlines belong to Mr. Chan who still speaksa queerly exotic English. Many of his dialogues with his Chinese co-stars are meant to be in their native language. Strangely, instead ofsubtitling, the Chinese lines are dubbed into English, so that the humourof linguistic misapprehension is completely lost in translation. At one point, Disha Patani (playing an Indian princess with little to doexcept look pretty) says, "I didn't understand what you said" to two

characters who are meant to be talking in Chinese but are actuallyheard by us in English. Never mind. This is mindless enter tainment atits brainless best, topped up by a kind of foamy salute to Indo-Chi-nese kinship that would at best, be as serviceable as a picnic up theHimalaya where revellers from both the countries are invited. The par ty mood never forsakes "Kung Fu Yoga". Director Stanley Tonggives Sonu Sood a chance to battle Jackie. Jackie gets tit for tat, 'Soodsamet'. Their conflicts are shot with the winking aplomb of a war inwhich no one really gets hur t. And just to prove that it's all in fun --"silly fun" -- Chan and Sood break into a big Bollywood dance at theend with Chinese and Indian girls in bright yellow sarees shakingtheir shoulders and heads with touristic relish. The action sequences are far superior to what we see in our ownfilms. There's an awe-inspiring underwater sequence with Jackie andDisha which is shot with the breathless languor of a lama ridingacross the Great wall. The extended car chase in Dubai which in-cludes a roaring lion on a ride with Chan, is majestic and spectacular, better than any stunts on the road I've seen in recent films. RohitShetty, please note. But my favourite action scene doesn't involveJackie Chan at all. It features Amyra Dastur (who is as useful as theplot as toppings to a pizza) and two Chinese actors trying to dodge adeep well filled with hungry hyenas. The lengthy hear t-in-the-mouthsequence is shot like a video game. Aarif Rahman, who plays Jackie'snephew, fights like Chan and can also act. The next mar tial-ar ts herofrom China? "Kung Fu Yoga" is one wild wacky goofy adventure saga.It isn't fodder for the intellect. But it sure as hell is a lot of fun.

India tour will be real test for Australia: MaxwellSYDNEY, (IANS) All-rounder Glenn Maxwell has said Australia's for thcoming four-Test tour of Indialater this month, will be a real test for each player. Maxwell, who has played for several IndianPremier League (IPL) franchises, and by his own admission is eyeing to cement the No.6 spot inthe line-up, said the visitors need to improve their shot selection to tackle India's spin attack."You've got to be adaptable and you've got to be able to change your game almost mid-innings. So,it's going to be a real test for everyone," Maxwell was quoted as saying by cricket.com.au. "Even forthe Indian players, you watch them, they go through different stages of their innings from sweeping,to using their feet, to playing off the back-foot - they change all the way through their innings.Hopefully, we can do similar stuff and work on our play of spin because it's going to be pretty key,"he added. The 28-year-old, currently in New Zealand with the One-Day International squad for the Chappell-Hadlee series, also pointed out that one has to prepare multiple strategies to be successful inIndian conditions. "I'm not sure it's a place you ever really feel comfor table. It's a place whereyou've got to work so hard to get your runs, and you've got to have different strategies at differenttimes of a game," the 28-year-old said. "That's probably what I've learned, you can't go in there withjust one strategy and stick to it," he added. The first of the four Tests will be played from February23 in Pune.

Hussey warns Australia against sledging KohliMELBOURNE: Virat Kohli will be Australia's "public enemy number one" during the upcoming Testseries against India, according to former batsman Michael Husseybut he has advised Steve Smithand Co. not to sledge him as it would bring the best out of the Indian captain.Hussey, who has averaged more on Asian soil than any other Aussie batsman to have played fiveTests or more in those foreign conditions, said riling Kohli may backfire on the Australians and theyshould instead focus on a plan to dismiss him cheaply during the series star ting February 23."From an Australian point of view, Kohli is public enemy No.1 and we have to get him out cheaply.I wouldn't try and fire him (Kohli) up. I think he thrives on that and he's a real competitor. He lovesbeing in the fight and loves the contest out in the middle," Hussey was quoted as saying bycricket.com.au."I'd make sure we have some very clear plans and we try and stick to them as best as we possiblycan. There's no need to get involved in that sor t of verbal barrage because I think that fires him upeven more. You don't want to get carried away with too much talk and lose your concentration ofwhat's impor tant, which is executing your skills," said Hussey, who retired in 2013 after scoring6235 runs from 79 Tests.
