Why is this course important for me?

School managers play a critical role in achieving the central purpose

of a school. Managing a school nowadays poses many challengesthat involve more knowledge and skills than ever before. It isessential that those who are running schools or deciding policesshould be up to date in their concepts and develop new ideas aboutschool management.This course is strongly recommended for inexperienced school

managers and coordinators who may become future school leaders.

What are the course objectives?

This course will provide insights, understandings, framework andtools from which schools can develop their own strategies to ensurededication to high quality education and the satisfaction of parentand pupil expectations.

How is the course structured?

This 30 hour course will be participative, and will provide hands-onexperiences with brain-storming, interactive lectures, role play, pairand group activities. You will be given simple assignments likereading and reflective written work. These will help you to clarify

your learning through the course, and lead you to ask morequestions in class.

Who will facilitate the workshop?

Ms. Rubina Naqvi is a member of the Training and DevelopmentTeam and is working in the capacity of Senior Manager, MembershipNetwork at TRC. She has been conducting workshops at TRC sincethe last 7 years and has received her teacher training in a#liation

with the University of Bradford. UK.

Registration Policy

Registrations will be done on a first come, first served basis. Theregistration form and fee should reach TRC latest by Monday, May23, 2011. We will register only 20 participants and may have toclose registrations well before this date.
