Statement of managementin terms of road safety

Belgium has pledged to reduce the number of road fatalities by 50% by 2020 (420).

This objective will be more easily achieved if all parties recognize their role in this area. BRSI, as a leading player in improving road safety, is aware of the essential role it plays in this respect and is committed to:

• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements for road safety,

• Continuously improve the road safety management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 39001,

• Take the necessary measures to control the road hazard potentially incurred by its employees and contractors, both during their commuting journeys and during the journeys made on behalf of the employer,

• Sensitize external parties on road safety issues.

BRSI management subscribes to GoForZero as the ultimate objective of its road risk management policy; Namely: 0 offenses, 0 accidents with material damage, with injuries or fatalities.

ISO 39001 at BRSI

• ‘Road traffic safety (RTS) management systems’ is an ISO standard (ISO 39001) fora management system for road traffic safety. The implementation of the standard is intended to enable organizations to improve their traffic safety and to reduce thenumber of persons killed or severely injured.

• In 2014, BRSI was the first Belgian company certified ISO 39001
