13 Grievance redressal mechanism for

faculty, staff and students Students: Students redressal mechanism is through Class Representatives, 2 CRs per section.

Faculty & Staff: The grievance redressal mechanism for Faculty & staff is through Faculty Council and also online facility is installed a link for the same is given in KIAMS web portal for the convenience of students & all employees of KIAMS. Disciplinary Committee: The Committee consists of the Head Admin as Chairman of the Committee and a nominated Faculty.

Two students’ representatives both from 1st year and 2nd year batch consisting of one lady student and one male student may be invited to remain present in the proceedings and to offer their constructive views and suggestions. When complaint against any student of a given batch is being enquired into by the Committee, student representatives of that batch alone may be invited to participate in the committee deliberations.

Any complaint against a student emanating from whatever source, must be in writing and on preliminary enquiry, if the Chairman is satisfied that the complaint will have to be looked into in detail, he may refer the matter to the Committee. The Committee will give reasonable opportunity to the affected student to give his explanation for the misconduct or any other action against which complaint is made.

Any decision of the disciplinary committee to down grade the student or expel from the Institute is subject to the confirmation of the Institute’s Director
