Arnaud Fillion (guitar) and Tae Nabatame (piano) will perform a mixed concert of jazz, improvisation and world music in the frame of their residence in Aswara from 4th April to 9th April. Tae Nabatame started playing classical piano at the age of six. In 1996, she began studying jazz music and improvisation, after discov- ering the music of American composers such as Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman. By the time she developed a very personal sound and approach towards music, she became very appreciated in Tokyo’s jazz circle, as a soloist as well as an accompanist. Arnaud Fillion-Robin ‘Arnito’ started playing guitar and composing at the age of thirteen. In 2000, he graduated from MAI (Music Academy International, Nancy) with a special mention and jury’s congratula- tions. His curiosity gave him the opportunity to colloborate with numerous artists, and experience many styles of music. He has participated in more than 1.000 concerts in France and foreign countries. He developed versatility, working as a musician, composer, guitar teacher, workshop organizer, and producer.
