DELIVERIESWe deliver to our network of Recommended Tile Retailers on a weekly basis or can deliver to your door,both of which incur a small charge. Whilst we endeavour to hold all tiles other than hand painted designs in stock, occasionally there are delays in production. In addition our hand painted designs arepainted to order and therefore you should allow up to afurther 3 weeks for delivery. Please bear this in mindwhen booking a tiler as we do not accept responsibilityfor lost working time in the event of a delivery being incorrect, damaged or delayed.By prior arrangement, orders can be also be collectedfrom our factory in Marlborough. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that all orders are correctly packed, occasionally errors do occur. Therefore we request that you please check goods onreceipt; only damaged and incorrect tiles notified within3 working days will be remedied.

RETURNS / ADDITIONSInstalled tiles and hand painted tiles are non-returnable. Full boxes of other tiles may be returned within 4 weeks of order, but there will be a20% restocking charge, so we urge you to measurecarefully. As our tiles vary from batch to batch, it is advisable to keep extra in case replacements are required at a future date. For the same reason, pleaseadvise us if you are adding to a previous order so thatwe can do all possible to get the closest match.Thecustomer will have the right to return all goods if theyare not happy with their selection. The goods must bereturned unbroken in the original packaging to retaileror direct to us and the customer will be responsible forthe cost of arranging transport and insurance of goods.This must be done within 28 days of receiving theorder. Refunds will be processed within 5 working daysfollowing our receipt of the return, original deliverycosts will not be refunded. APPEARANCEWALL TILE COLLECTIONSOur tiles are hand crafted and hand painted and are,as such subject to minor colour variation both withinthe batch and from batch to batch, Where possible,tiles should be laid out prior to fixing or taken randomlyfrom several boxes to allow for blending of any shadevariation. Over a period of time ceramic tiles maycraze which should be considered a characteristicrather than an imperfection of this type of tile.The surface of our hand crafted tiles may vary in the degree of undulation from batch to batch. Tiles maynot be perfectly square due to uneven shrinkage in firing.

GLASS WALL COLLECTIONSGlass is subject to minor colour variation and can beprone to scratching so is best used in wall areas notsubject to surface abrasion. It has excellent stain andwater resistant properties.

SPECIFICATIONThe dimensions listed throughout the brochure may besubject to minor inaccuracies and are given as a guideonly. The number of tiles supplied per metre is dependent on the size of grout joint recommended.When calculating the number of tiles required for yourproject, please allow 7.5-10% extra for cutting andwastage.

FIXING & SEALINGWe strongly recommend that you use a tile fitter experienced in fitting specialised tiles. Before commencing any work, we recommend that you andyour fitter read our Product Information sheet, available on www.marlboroughtiles.com In particular we draw your attention to the importance ofsurface preparation prior to tiling, checking the tilesprior to fixing to ensure there are sufficient and that theyare correct, sealing the tiles where recommended, and finally, protecting the newly laid tilesfrom ongoing work in the vicinity.

WALLSGrout joint - we recommend a grout width of around 3-5mm for the wall tile collections in this brochure. Our tiles should be laid by eye and not using spacers,halving any size difference. A wet cutter should be used.

Crackle glaze sealer - our Contemporary Classics, Vintage, Posterity, Cool Companions and Simplicity collections have a crackle glaze and require sealingwith Marlborough Tiles Crackle Glaze Sealer. Tiles tobe cut must be sealed prior to cutting. All other tilesmust be sealed after fixing.

Glass - glass tiles must be cut with a diamond blade designed for cutting glass rather than a ceramic bladethat will chip them. White adhesive with a flexi-additiveshould be used and applied evenly all over the back ofthe tile. MAINTENANCEGlass tiles should be cleaned using a soft cloth and glasscleaner. Our other wall and floor tile collections may becleaned as above or with a proprietary tile cleaner, using asoft or non-abrasive cloth.
