Hello Brothers,
Before anything else, I would like to congratulate all the outgoing Worshipful Masters on their year. I am sure some of you are wondering where the time went. I would also like to congratulate all the newly elected officers. You have been entrusted by your brethren with your Lodge’s well being. I hope you all have a
wonderful and enjoyable year. I would like to add that each of you have a built in support network around you. All you have to do is ask.
I would like to thank all of you who made the trip to the Masonic Home for our annual Christmas Party. I would also like to thank the wives that helped purchase the gifts for the residents. And certainly a big Thank You to all who attended the wrapping party. This Christmas Party was a success due to all of your help.
January is a very busy month for all of us with all of the Lodges installations and still having to attend to our regular business. Remember the Grand Lodge year is only half over; we still have business and goals that are being worked on. I offer my assistance to all of you. If you have any questions about anything, please let me know. If I don’t have the answer, we’ll find it together. My brothers, at our last
Masters and Wardens meeting I presented a challenge to you all. We have some very enthusiastic brothers on the District Committees that are available to help if you would like them to.

Brothers of the Mighty 33rd District This year sure did pass quickly and we are all looking at a bright New Year. The election of officers for 2017 is tonight as we pick our M&W leadership for 2017. I wish to thank you all for allowing me to serve this past year. I believe we got a lot accomplished and I look forward to the continued success in 2017. The New Year will bring in the 2017 budget that the membership will vote on the first meeting in January (January 25th). I have asked our current Treasurer W Bill LeCuyer to prepare a budget for 2017 that can be presented for review and comment at our December meeting so we have time for consideration prior to January’s vote. Grand Lodge will provide the official
District and Lodge membership counts on January 23rd which will set the per-capita rates for this next year. Lodge Installation’s are starting this Friday and we have a full schedule
this next month. Let’s all try to attend as many installations as possible and

The Traveling Gavel at Coral Springs lodge and incoming Worshipful Marvin Fellner has promised a great meal and a pleasant evening to any lodge looking to take it home with them. Coral Springs Lodge meets at J Dewey Hawkins lodge on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month so the next meeting will be January 10th followed by January 24th. Please remember a courtesy call the lodge (754-234-5315) to assure enough food is on hand for your visit. To claim the “Traveling Gavel” for
your Lodge, you may attend either a stated or called meeting with seven or more regular members of your lodge which must include three or more of the elected officers.

We are so blessed to have the support of our district this past year and we look forward to great times in 2017.
We ended our 2016 with a festive gathering for the holidays. We brought on a new pledge who we believe has taken right to the Rainbow Girl spirit. We look forward to getting to know her more and hope she brings with her a few friends to join our pledge group. Pleaders are our 8-10 year olds who gather for fun activities together as they await their time to become a full Rainbow Sister.
We are looking forward to initiating our new candidate, Nyekia, in February when we attend the Ocala Zone and Official Visit of the Grand Worthy Advisor. We have been blessed to get to know to one of the District 33 Mason's daughters. She has blended right into our friendly group of girls. If you know a girl age 10-20 years old, please direct her to our wonderful group of girls.
In January we have been asked to attend a few installation dinners for the district. We love this opportunity to serve you. Serving the dinners allows the girls time to visit with the men and ladies of the district, while also being able to make a few dollars toward their Camp Boggy Creek service and their Grand Assembly account funds.
This year we at Grand Assembly, we have three grand officers, one grand representative and two grand pages. Each girl has to earn approximately $350-$550 to attend the event. If you would like our girls to serve your installation or assist with any other event, please let us know.
