President’s Message
WOW !!! The Greenville Spring Show
was AWESOME!! For those that attend-
ed, I think you will agree. Attendance was
fantastic, new memberships are up, and
antique lures are the thing to collect….
We were very fortunate that I was able to
get free radio advertising for this show
beginning in January…. That helped tre-
mendously in getting the public to our
show. We were blessed to have over 14
auctions during this show (that might be
an auction show record). Some deals
were made and good items were bought.
Stuff off the street just kept coming in,
and that my friends was fantastic (all day
long). A big THANK YOU to Dennis
McNulty for being our auctioneer for eve-
ry auction (his voice was a little scratchy
at the end of the day). Also I want to say
Thank You to those that came and made
this show such a success.
Please be aware that the club voted on a
new bylaw. If you cancel a table or tables
after you have paid, and after the club
has paid for these rented tables, you will
only receive 50% of your money back. If
you have paid for tables and don’t show
up without any communication, no refund
will be given. The vote was 100% in favor.
This helps the CATC from going in the
hole on table cancelations and no shows.
Be sure to reserve your tables for the Fall
Myrtle Beach show in November on the
4th-6
th. Call Mr. Gene McIntyre at 910-395
-4424. So mark you calendars for this
show and also note that it’s a little earlier
this year. I hope all of you are doing
great and finding lots of good stuff. Hope
to see you at the Myrtle Beach show.
