Medical Uniforms- Worn By The Medical Professionals Very much akin to working in any office atmosphere, medical professionals also need to wear particular type of uniforms while they are at service in their respective workplaces. Though most of the office-goers do need to abide by a certain kind of dress codes in their office but the major difference with the nursing uniforms is that, the clothes worn within a hospital or medical institutions are specially designed to serve a particular purpose. Regular office uniforms that are widely used are made of formal colors but in cases of hospitals or medical clinics, uniforms symbolize a particular reason. Nursing is a noble profession and this is probably the only ‘job’ where you are directly serving and helping ailing patients to get better and start a new life. Hence the nursing colors carry a certain weight and it must show the gravity of the profession as well. Traditionally we see that the healthcare uniforms and medical uniforms are basically those long, blue/green colored scrubs and such clothes mainly to protect the nurses and doctors from getting affected by the harmful particles and germs while operating on patients. Most of the time nurses and doctors need to be within the operating rooms or OT or in the hospital wards, therefore it is important for them to get their body thoroughly protected by uniforms that are easy to wear, comfortable and shielding. Nurses and doctors are indeed like soldiers; as soon as they reach their workplaces or hospitals, they are fully covered with cloths and scrubs and that too are made of particular colors like white or blue etc. Apart from the medical scrubs , long lab gowns are also very popular among medical practitioners and even during research works, these garments are worn a lot.
