I am so excited to have this opportunity to connect with you. So much has been happening and we’re witnessing God’s faithfulness as lives are being impacted and transformed around the world. We feel so privileged to be invited alongside so many pastors to be a part of what God is doing to strengthen His local church and body at large. There has never been such excitement and expectation in our spirits as there is right now.

God dropped a word into my spirit at the opening of 2009, and I feel the strength of its directive even now in this last quarter.

Relax, everything’s going to be all right; rest, everything’s coming together; open your hearts, love is on the way!

- Jude 1:2 The MessageThere has been so much shaking, shifting and shaping, but it is needed for everything to come together. We cannot allow fear to close our hearts or our hands. There is no need to be stressed or alarmed…why? Because love is on the way!

Crisis is a catalyst for change. It focuses how we live. What we choose to value. What we are willing to give our time and livelihood to. We have needed this focus. This is our season to be salt and light, our time to be extraordinary. It is our earnest hope and prayer that you will be challenged to throw your life open to all God has for you. There has never been a greater earth-felt need for someone just like you!

John and I are in a new, thrilling season of enlargement. Even as I type, Julianna, the lovely bride of our son, Addison, is ready to burst as we all anxiously await the arrival of our first grandson, Asher Alexander. We love him already and the promise of his life is a powerful reminder that we are not what we do, but what we pass on. There is life and hope in each of our futures.

As you read our words and flip through these pages, take a deep breath, open your heart and receive. We believe in you… thank you for believing with us.

ave you often thought, “There must be more”? You’re not alone. I believe a fresh revelation of truth will unlock the God-potential within you. You probably know that by God’s grace you’re forgiven and saved, but do you know that His grace also empowers you here and now in this life?

“And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.” (John 1:16, NKJV). Here’s the point so many miss: by grace we receive the fullness of God’s nature! Grace is the gift that not only saved us but also imparts to us the completeness of Jesus. We are in Christ, He is in us, and we have the fullness of His nature.

Without this insight, we cut ourselves off from the flow of grace. Most believe God’s grace has forgiven their sin and saved them from hell, but there is so much more! We are empowered to live like Jesus (see 1 John 2:6) with authority to bring heaven to earth.

My life changed dramatically once I discovered that grace

not only includes God’s amazing forgiveness and promise of heaven, but also His empowerment in this life. Before this, I struggled trying to be good in my own strength. I found many of God’s instructions too difficult to fulfill, I battled inferiority and poor self-image as I wondered why there was so little eternal fruit in my life. However, once the realization came that I have the fullness of God’s nature, my life stabilized, blessings flowed and my impact for the kingdom greatly increased.

Many believe they are merely struggling sinners who’ve been forgiven—and someday, in heaven, they will be like Jesus. This fallacy keeps people in bondage and nullifies God’s power in their lives. The Bible tells us we are His children: “Beloved, now we are children of God” (1 John 3:2, NKJV). If we are His children, we have access to fully operate in the character of Jesus. We have the ability to live as He intended us to live from the

beginning—extraordinarily! We can live in His image, His likeness, possessing His ability—all through grace! You are a son or daughter of God. You possess His nature. You were meant for anything but ordinary!

Grace not only instructs us, it also empowers us to live above our human potential.

We’re born again, brand new people, a new creation, free to live an extraordinary life! The same power that raised Jesus from the dead abides in us. This is why the enemy has strived to reduce grace down to merely a ticket into heaven. If you find out who you are, you will rise up and be a great threat to his work. You’ll be extraordinary and change your world!

scripture shows us that we are to rise above the norm. We are to be the influencers and leaders. As a businessperson, you can have inventive ideas and keen marketing strategies that are ahead of the curve. You’ll know when to buy and when to sell.
