METHOD STATEMENT

1-1) SCOPE OF WORKS- THIS SECTION INCLUDES:1-2) SYESTEM DESCRIPTIONS

A) Design requirements:1) Extruded aluminum framing sections with integrated gutter system for positive drainage of condensate water.2) Continuous E.P.D.M gaskets along the glass perimeters both internally and externally.The external gasket shall be maintained at about 50% compression by extruded Aluminium retainer bars.3) The system should provide a flush exterior sealant joints along the purlins to allow smooth flow of water and to prevent the dust and other foreign objects from accumulating on the horizontal joints. If the glazing materials forbid direct exposure of its edges, then the system utilizes retainer bars on the purlins with cut-outs at both ends to enhance the flow of water.

B) Performance Requirements:

Note: British Standard codes and the equivalent American Standard codes and vice-versa shall be acceptable.1) Structural members shall be designed in accordance with BS: 5950 to support the following loads.a) All Dead Loads: Kg/m2b) Live Load : Kg/m2, as per BS: 6369 Part 1c) Wind Load : Kg/m2, as per CP3, Part 2: for basic wind speed of at least 40 Meters/second.2) The deflection of any structural member on the plane normal to the glass surface shall not exceed 1/300 of its unsupported span.3) Air infiltration shall not be more than 0.06 CFM/Ft2 of generated surface area of the skylight when tested in accordance with ASTM E 283.

1-3) SUBMITAL:

A) Submit shop drawing plans, elevations and details required to fully describe the construction and fixing for consultant's review and approval.B) Submit structural prepared in accordance with relevant British or American standard codes for consultant's review and approval.C) Submit 300mmx300mm samples of glazing materials for consultant approval.D) Structural silicon (Momentive) Sample & Data Sheet.E) Powder Coating Color ChartF) Aluminium. (Gulf Extrusion Data Sheet)G) EPDM Rubber (Data Sheet)H) Steel, (Al Nimir, UAE, data sheet)

1-4) QUALITY ASSURANCES:

Work of this section is to be designed, fabricated and installed by a company with a minimum of Ten (10) years experience in work of similar scope and magnitude.

PART TWO 2-1) ALUMINIUM MEMBERS:

Principal Framing Members.

Shall be extruded Aluminium with minimum mechanical properties equal to or greater than 6063.03-T6 alloy and temper. Nominal wall thickness of 2.5mm to 4 mm

Aluminium Sheets:

Aluminium sheets to be used for flashing, shall have minimum thickness of 1.8 mm with minimum mechanical properties equal to or greater than 1050-H14

2-2) STRUCTURAL STEEL MEMBERS:

Structural steel members shall be mild steel of commercial grade 43.

2-3) Coating:

Aluminium: Powder Coating: Class I, As Approved By Consultant. Color: [As selected by the Engineer from manufacturers full range]

Steel:

Steel frames: National zinic phosphate epoxy primer1)The surface must be dry, firm, stable, and free from dust, sand, soluble salts and other contamination, prior to the application of the specified system.

Sand Blasted. Method Statement as Following

a) The Surface Preparation after Sand Blasting will be near to white metal Sa 2.5.b) Our quality department will be randomly checking the sand blasting results after the blasting is done by our machine (AIR BLAST ABSC-1028 BLAST 17 Liter).c) We will be using Zinc Phosphate Epoxy Primer, after the sand blasted steel is cleaned by cleaning Thinner so the no residuals of blasted material or sand remains on the steel sections.

2-4) FASTENERS:

1) Fasteners connecting Aluminium to Aluminium or screws in contact with Aluminium shall be steel series 3162) Fasteners or bolts connecting steel be either cadmium or zinc plated steel.3) 12M - Nut bolt used to fix the skylight to the I Beam shall be cadmium or zinc plated steel unless specified otherwise.

2-5) SEALENT:

Sealant used in flush glazed joints shall be high performance silicone, black colour, sealant for weather seal joints shall be a neutral cure medium modulus silicone. In any application the sealant used shall be compatible with the materials they are in contact with.

2-6) GLASS AND GLAZING:

The architect to specify the type of glass or other glazing materials, however in case of laminated glass, the two lites shall be bonded together with minimum of .04 thick polyvinyl butyl (PVB) layersIn case of insulating glass the outer glass shall be heat strengthened and the inner glass shall be laminated.

2-7) FABRICATIONS:

A. The skylight framing shall be fabricated in mill finish and to be factory fitted in part or whole (where practical to verify the construction, to mark the members and measure the glass size.B. After fitting the frames shall be coated with the required finish, except when the finish is anodized where anodization is done on profiles prior to fabrication.C. All welding shall be done by the heliarc process and all exposed welds ground smooth.D. Setting block and spares shall be located and sized correctly to prevent any part of the glazing to come in contact with the frames or fasteners.E. The purlins shall be overlapping the rafter or ridge to achieve positive drainage of condensation to the exterior of the system.F. The extruded Aluminium retainer bar shall be attached to the serrated slot of ridge, rafter or purlins by stainless steel fasteners spaced at 250mm or center.G. Glass panels shall be sized correctly to allow for maximum expansion and contraction within the frame.H. Contact between Aluminium and dissimilar metal shall be prevented by E.P.D.M separator or other suitable material to prevent electrolytic action and corrosion.

2-8) Material Deliveries on Site:

All Material Including Steel Frames and Glass Panels should deliver up to the required level by Lifts with complete packing to avoid any damages to existing site

2-9) Site Protection:

Before installation the skylight, the lifts and corridors (The material delivery route) should protected with paper board carton & Polystyrene Sheets to avoid any damage to the existing site

2-10) Critical Activities:

Ceramic roof tiles should remove by the contractor who already work and fix the tiles and use same method to work on roof to fix Flashing and apply silicon for water tightening of skylight, Welding works should not on site, Erection of scaffolding with complete safety and Skilled labor should install skylight with complete safety (safety belts, life lines, helmets, safety shoes, safety glasses & gloves)

PART 3 - EXECUTION3-1) EXAMINATION OF SITE:

Prior to installation, inspect the structural support to verify that they are properly prepared to receive the skylight in accordance with the approved shop drawing. Report in writing any error in the work. No work shall proceed until all errors and deviations are corrected.

3-2) INSTALLATIONS:

A) Marking on ceiling According to the Tender Drawings and approve the marking areas by consultant.B) Cutting Existing Purlins (U-channel) with hand grander (shall take care of the existing steel structure) according to the Size and Consultants Approval and Edges shall make smooth after cuttingC) Cutting existing sandwich panel with hand grander according to the size and Consultants approvalD) Fixing 120x60x3mm steel angles on existing I Beam (Rafters) with 12M S.S Nut Bolts to receive the skylight main steel structure.E) The skylights, unless agreed otherwise, shall be erected and glazed by the manufacturer or an experience installer authorized by the manufacturer.F) The installation of skylights shall be done in accordance with the manufacturer's systems and procedures.G) The skylight shall be designed to accommodate tolerances of the building's structural members and clearances shown on approved shop drawing the maximum variation from the dimensions shown on the approved shop drawings shall be 3mm per 3.5 meter or 12mm on any total length.H) Flashing on the top edge of the skylight shall place under the ceramic roofing tiles bottom edge to prevent water leakages and receive water direct on flashing and bottom edge of skylight flashing shall be overlap on ceramic roofing tiles top edge to flow the water direct on tiles to prevent any water leakages.I) Sealant materials shall be in accordance with the manufacturer's printed instructions. Before applying sealant, all the dirt, dust and foreign matters shall be completely cleaned from the contact surfaces. Adjoining surfaces must be masked to obtain a clean and neat appearance.

3-3) PROTECTIONS AND CLEANING:

A) Protect all materials against damage from machanicalabuse and foreign matter during installation.B) Removed all manufacturers seal, label, marking etc. Clean the glazing, inside and outside with solutions recommended by the glass manufacturer at the time of installation.

PART 4 - HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTTOOL-BOX TALK

Supervisors will conduct tool-box talks to their respective workforce at appropriate intervals. Additionally, depending upon the site activities currently in progress, job specific hazards and the precautions to be taken are highlighted whenever required. The common subjects generally covered are listed below: Unsafe conditions and unsafe acts noticed at site during the previous week. Lessons learnt from the accidents / near misses, if any. Safety precautions to be taken in the next week's work. Safety systems and procedures to be followed at site. Safety checklists. Accident prevention and control measures. Role of each man in preventing accidents

Activity related safety precautions such as: Safe usage of scaffoldings, ladders, power tools Electrical safety requirements Fire precautions to be taken at site Safe usage of hand tools Welding and gas cutting procedures Procedures of manual and mechanical handling of materials Safety rules related to housekeeping and site tidiness. Need for providing safe access to the work place. Hazards associated with handling compressed gas cylinders Material storage and transportation requirements Working near construction equipment and machinery Health hazards. Emergency evacuation procedures Personal protective appliances.

SAFETY TRAINING

All AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING staff and workforce will undergo a project site specific induction session before their deployment at site, conducted by the relevant HSE staff of the Client. Subjects covered during the induction sessions normally include the following aspects: Commitment to prevent accidents Safety checks to be carried out on scaffoldings, ladders and power tools. Safety rules to be followed and correct use of PPE. Safety appliances to be used with reference to various activities. Power tools: guards / cords / plus tops / connections / ELCB / not allowing loose cables on the floor. Fire prevention: housekeeping / no smoking / hot works / water proofing / storage areas. Housekeeping: de-nailing / de-shuttering areas / stacking of materials. Use of tower crane and hoist. What to do in case of accident and other emergencies at site. Site facilities: toilets / eating area / rest area / water point etc.The daily work instruction will include the hazards likely to be encountered and the precautions to be taken.Before taking up any new work activity, concerned AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING workmen will be given a toolbox talk regarding the hazards likely to be encountered and the precautions to be taken.

ACCIDENT REPORTING

All accidents and near miss incidents at site will be reported to the Clients Safety Officer.Incident report forms in the approved shall be completed within 24 hours and forwarded to the Clients Safety Department.

SAFETY APPLIANCES

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING will ensure that all its employees of its sub contactors are issued with and wear the following protective equipment while on the Clients premises: All AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING workers use Company-issued coveralls which identifies them as AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING employees. Clothing shall be such that the upper body and legs are covered fully and shall not be overly loose fitting; the minimum requirement shall be shirt and long trousers for engineers and full coverall for workers. Safety helmets are a mandatory requirement while working at project sites, and generally conform to British Standard 5240 or equivalent. Safety helmets / hard hats issued by AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING are white with the company logo displayed at the front. Safety Footwear with metal toe protection, especially for work in hot metal areas are provided in appropriate quality, to British Standards 4676 or equivalent. Safety goggles or face shields are provided to all the employees who are required to do overhead drilling, grinding, chipping, polishing and any other works where flying object hazards exist, especially in areas designated by the Client, where injuries to eyes are likely due to fragments being thrown off (conforming to British Standard 2092 Grade 1 or Grade 2) or equivalent Welders are provided with welding shields with dark glass of suitable shade with leather hand gloves. Flame cutters are provided with goggles having the requisite dark glasses. Cotton gloves are provided to all employees who are likely to handle materials with sharp objects. Earplugs are provided to all employees who are likely to handle noisy operations or are in close proximity of such noise. Safety belts are provided to all workmen who are likely to fall more than 2 meters height from their place of work. Dust masks are provided to all the workmen who are required to carry out work involving generation of dust such as cutting concrete walls/floors, gypsum section cutting, etc.

FIRST AID

A basic AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING First Aid Box is provided for minor incidents/injuries. Major First Aid facilities are normally provided at site by the Client.Injured persons will initially be provided with necessary first aid and will be sent to nearest hospital depending on the severity of the injury.

FIRE PREVENTION & FIRE PLAN

AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING will ensure that its employees comply with the Clients current fire prevention requirements at the project site, by understanding the basics of fire risk, precautions to prevent a fire and actions to take if a fire breaks out.

FIRE PREVENTION

The following points are normally considered: AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING will ensure that adequate fire extinguishers of the correct type are provided at site, if not already provided by the Client. Adequate number of fire extinguishers will be installed and maintained at site wherever there is a potential fire hazard. AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING will ensure that the burning of waste, debris or any other material on the site premises is prohibited. The storage of flammable materials, chemicals, paints etc. will be in accordance with the Clients fire prevention requirements, only in areas clearly demarcated for the purpose. Any accidental fire occurring on the premises will be reported to the Clients representative immediately, and written report will be provided within 48 hours, as per the standard site procedure. Special care will be taken for hot works (welding and gas cutting). All the used flammable liquid containers will be collected immediately and brought back to a safe storage place as demarcated by the Client and suitably disposed off. Flammable liquid containers will not be left unattended at site without their lids. Hot Works (defined as any work requiring burning, welding, brazing, portable grinders or any other flame or spark producing equipment ) will be commenced by AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING only after obtaining a written hot works permit valid for a particular area. AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING will ensure that all fire extinguishers in use at the project site will have been serviced appropriately and will bear a label giving the date of such service. Any used extinguisher will be recharged immediately. Welding and flame cutting works will be carried out only after taking the necessary precautions mentioned in the hot work permit. Oxygen and acetylene cylinders will not be taken inside any confined areas. The cylinders will be kept upright / vertical always and will be prevented from accidental falling. They will be stored separately in the designated storage area. All fuel cylinders will be provided with flash back arrestors. Training on the use of fire extinguishers will be conducted to all the employees as a part of the induction session by the Client, in addition to the initial basic training imparted to AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING employees. Smoking will be totally banned at site.

FIRE PLAN:

In the event of an accidental fire, the following are recommended: Stay calm and do not run. Sound the fire alarm or inform others by shouting FIRE! and call the Safety Manager or emergency services of the Client for immediate help. Attack the fire with the fire extinguishers provided at the site, using them as instructed. Arrange to remove all the flammable materials away from the fire area if possible. In the event that the fire cannot be extinguished or controlled, call Civil Defence Fire Department on 997 Move away from the area of danger to the safe area Evacuate the building only through stairs to the assembly point identified for all personnel at ground level. Report to your group leader / immediate supervisor at once on your safe arrival to the designated assembly point for head count.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION PROCEDURE

Emergency evacuation procedure in case of fire will be as per the Clients procedure and will be reviewed periodically to suit the site condition as the construction work progresses. In case of an emergency due to a hazard at site, the warning sound of the whistle / siren will be a signal for all AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING personnel to cease work at site. Mock evacuation drill will be conducted by the Client at regular intervals as per need. Access to all works areas will be kept free from obstruction at all times. Proper directional signage will be provided to identify the location of exits. All site personnel will be educated about the standard evacuation procedures and assembly point locations during safety induction by the Client.

ACTION IN THE EVENT OF MINOR INJURY ACCIDENT

In case of an accident in the vicinity of the work place, the Supervisor and a representative of the Client will be immediately informed. Drinks or food to the injured is to be avoided. Send the injured person to the first aid room for treatment. Once the injured is given first aid, shift him to a comfortable place, if required. If the injury calls for external medical assistance, the injured person shall be sent to nearest hospital immediately by suitable means. Ensure that all concerned (Project Manager / Site Engineer and the Clients Safety Officer are informed about the incident. Assist the Safety Officer in investigating the accident and to identify the root cause of the accident to prevent it in future.

ACTION IN THE EVENT OF MAJOR INJURY ACCIDENT

If any serious accident occurs at the work place, the following points are generally observed /adhered: Stay calm, do not panic. Inform the Supervisor and Clients Site Safety Officer. Do not touch the injured person if he has been electrocuted. If any material is lying on the injured person, assist others in removing it. Do not move the injured person unless it is very essential to do so as the person may be hurt further by unnecessary movements. Move him only if there is further risk of injury to the casualty at the scene of accident. Do not crowd around the injured, blocking the flow of fresh air in the area. Do not give any drinks or food to the injured unless directed by competent persons.

ELECTRICITYSupply to all portable equipment at site shall be of suitable 110 Volts, while specialized fixed equipment operating at higher voltages (220V) will be used only after receiving permission from the Clients Safety Department. Fixed lighting systems will be 220V.Portable lighting shall have the lamps protected by cages.All cables shall be in good condition and any joints in the cable will be made with proprietary /approved joining systems.All temporary cables shall be raised above the ground, wherever possible

PORTABLE ELECTRIC TOOLS

AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING will ensure that all employees at the project site have been properly trained in the use of each specific tool.All electrical connections shall be with correct industrial plug and socket without the use oftaped joints in cables.All portable electric tools (generally involving the grinding, cutting, drilling and weldingfunctions, including leads and plugs) shall be in a safe operating condition.All portable electric tools shall be properly earthed , fused and adequately guarded to prevent accidental contact with moving parts, and will be properly maintained as required.

VEHICLES AND PLANT

AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING will ensure that: All AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING equipment brought to site, whether leased or owned, will be in safe operating condition. All vehicles and mobile plant belonging to or on hire to us or used by our employees on the site premises have the necessary official licenses and are fully insured against third party liability. Drivers of all vehicles hold a current valid driving license for the class of vehicle or plant driven. Vehicles and plant are not used for the carrying of passengers, unless designed to do so. All cranes and heavy plant have audible reversing alarms. All its employees shall comply with the instructions of the Clients security personnel and traffic rules. All vehicles and mobile plant are roadworthy and comply with METAL Police / RTA requirements. All its vehicles follow the route for heavy traffic unless given prior permission to use other routes by the Clients representative. Vehicles shall not exceed the laid down speed limit within the premises All vehicles on site will be reversed and parked.

SCAFFOLDING

Main scaffolding is in all cases provided by the Contractor, in accordance with the rules andstandards applicable.In the improbable case that AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING is required to install scaffolding; the following basicrules shall be complied with: Only tubular scaffolding with the correct scaffolding fitting, or system scaffolding of an approved type, shall be used on the premises. All materials shall be in good condition and shall be suitable for the task. Scaffolding tubing shall be straight and free from corrosion that is likely to affect its strength. Boards will conform to the minimum thickness and width required by the Client for the specific job. Warped, split or otherwise damaged board or boards contaminated with oil, chemicals or cement shall not be used. Adequate bracing shall be installed to prevent any movement. Ties shall be installed every 6 meters horizontally and every 3 meters vertically and shall be of the positive type. The height of the scaffold shall not be extended by the use of ladders, trestles, etcMobile scaffolds for internal use shall not exceed the standard base-to- height ratio of 3.5 times minimum base dimension Unless they are adequately tied the minimum base dimension shall not be less than 1.2 meters.A safe means of access shall be maintained to the scaffolding all the times, including during the construction and dismantling.

SCAFFOLD INSPECTIONS

AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING will ensure that the scaffold is inspected by the representative of the Clientbefore being used .Thereafter the scaffold shall be inspected periodically to determine whether the scaffolds strength has been affected.A register of all scaffold erected shall be completed by the concerned scaffolder, and theregister will be kept and maintained in the Safety Department of the Client.

LADDERS

Ladders shall be in good condition and free from any defect that is likely to affect theirstrength. Ladders shall not be painted or otherwise treated such as to hide any defects.Only proprietary ladders constructed to acceptable standards, rated for light trade or heavyindustrial, or equivalent standard acceptable to the Client shall be used.All ladders shall: Be secured at the top to prevent movement or, where this is not possible, be secured at the bottom, or by the use of non-skid feet. Project at least one meter above the working platform or landing to which they are providing access. Be erected at an angle equivalent to the ladder base one meter from the vertical for every four meters it rises.

WORKING AT HEIGHT / PREVENTION OF FALLS

Where persons are required to work at heights where they may fall 2 meters or more, theyshall be provided with a safe place of work. This shall consist of a working platform, which shall confirm with the requirements of a working platform as described in the section on scaffolding.Where the requirements are not reasonably practicable, alternatives shall be considered after discussing with the Clients Safety Department.A safe means of access shall be provided to the working place by means of a ladder or othersafe means.

CRANES AND LIFTING GEAR

All cranes and lifting gear utilized by AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING shall have a valid test certificate ofinsurance.All operators shall be in a possession of a current license to operate the class of crane he isrequired to drive.AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING will ensure that any crane or hoist owned by the Client will be used only afterreceipt of prior written permission by the authorized representative.All lifting gear will be in a good condition adequate for the task, and subject examination by the Client as & when required.

ACCESS

Roadways, walkways, electrical switchgear, machinery and fire fighting appliances shall be kept free of any obstruction. Access ways around the work area shall be kept clear, while a safe means of access and egress to and from every work area will be provided. Any alteration to the general access in walkways or roadways will only be carried out with the prior approval of the Clients Representative

FLOOR OPENINGS

All floor openings shall be covered or otherwise adequately protected to prevent falling. Timber for covers shall be strong enough to support the weight likely to be placed on it. Covers shall be secured to prevent movement.

EXCAVATION

As the AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING scope of works is generally related to interior fit-out, excavations normally fall outside our line of work. However, in the rare event of excavations being required for our works, necessary clearances will be obtained from the concerned authorities of the Client before taking up any excavation in the project area. All rules and regulations relating to project excavation work will be followed, as laid down by the HSE policy of the Client.

HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES & CONTROL OF SUBSTANCES HAZARDOUS TO HEALTH

Hazardous substances include any flammable liquid or any substance likely to give rise totoxic, corrosive, irritant or harmful risk.Hazardous Substances shall be kept to the minimum quantity required at the site withappropriate warning notices affixed to the storage containers and areas.No Smoking signs will be affixed to the storage facility. All containers holding hazardous substances will have their lids replaced as soon as they are not in use. Only small quantities will be removed from the container when required.Storage areas shall have good ventilation, access, egress, and lighting (flash proof)Any hazardous materials brought to site will be accompanied with a Material Safety Data Sheet(MSDS), generally showing the following information: Name and address of manufacturer/supplier Composition/information on ingredients Potential hazards First aid measures Fire fighting measures Accidental release measures Handling and storage Exposure controls / personal protective equipments Physical and chemical properties Stability and reactivity Toxicological information Ecological information Disposal considerations Transport information Regulatory information Other information.Details of the delivery will be provided to the Clients Safety Officer to co-ordinate initiation of assessments, storage and safe handling.

ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

Protection against the effects of noise exposure shall be provided when the sound levelsexceed 90 dB per 8-hour shift.When employees are subjected to sound levels exceeding those listed above, feasibleadministrative or engineering controls shall be utilized by the Client. If such controls fail toreduce sound levels within the levels given above, personal protective equipment shall beprovided by AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING ..As far as possible noise levels at source will be reduced to the lowest levels that are reasonably practicable.In circumstances where the noise level of an operation of works exceeds 90 dB, the area is to be demarcated and signs erected by the Contractor indicate the affected area.All equipment provided by AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING for the purpose of controlling or reducing noise, i.e. ear defenders, mufflers, acoustic screens etc., will be maintained in good order.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING will ensure that all the scrap materials generated at site will be placed at the scrap bins provided at the respective floors. This will be the responsibility of the Supervisor of the AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING group of workmen. A suitable chute will be identified using the existing features of the building or externally to bring the scrap safely to the ground floor, as site situation warrants. The flammable wastes such as empty containers of paint, insulation glue, and adhesives etc. will not be disposed off in the scrap bins. It will be removed on a daily basis to the site stores where a separate storage is maintained and designated for such purposes. The garbage bins provided in the temporary facilities area will be cleared daily by the Client at periodic intervals, depending on the requirement. Skips will be provided at work sites by the Client.

TRANSPORTATION

All AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING vehicles will be operated by drivers holding valid UAE driving license. Speed limit of AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING vehicles at site will be restricted to the speed limit within the site premises, as specified by the Client. If the vehicles have to reverse in restricted work premises, a helper will assist the driver. AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING workmen will be cautioned not to sleep under the parked vehicles and plants. It will be the responsibility of AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING drivers to ensure that the vehicles are not overloaded beyond rated loads. Drivers and operators will not be allowed to work for more than 12 hours continuously on any circumstances. Vehicles will only be parked at designated locations within the site without obstructing the free flow of the traffic. If materials project / overhang from the vehicles, a warning flag and/ or red lamp will be tied to the projection to warn others of the danger. The materials will be tied properly when loaded in vehicles to prevent dislodgement while moving.

HOUSE KEEPING

AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING will ensure that its workers co-operate with and help the allotted Client workers for carrying out housekeeping activities regularly, especially in keeping the site free from debris, trash and rubbish. Smoking is not permitted in the entire site, including site offices and stores, except at locations and / or times indicated by the client / Client. Trash containers provided by the Client will be kept near the rest areas and AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING workers will be advised to dispose lunch box waste, soft drink bottles etc. only in these trash containers. All AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING materials at site will be neatly stacked in the assigned location provided with suitable enclosures. Scrap generated at site will be removed on a day to day basis by the respective workers at the end of the shift everyday, under the authority of the Clients supervisors. Packing materials shall be removed from the site to the designated areas, immediately after opening the boxes. Welding cables, power cables etc. will be laid in such a way that they will not cause trip hazards. The following will not be permitted on site, including, but not limited to:a) Radios, Cassette Players, CD Players & Music Systemsb) TVsFOOD CONSUMPTION

Food shall only be consumed in designated areas agreed with Clients representative. No food shall be consumed within the work areas.All food waste shall be removed immediately, in a hygienic manner, and shall not be allowed to accumulate.AL TAGHTEIA CONTRACTING will ensure that the employees working under its scope will not enter site under the influence of alcohol or non-prescriptions drugs.
