FORREST COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE

Being a suburb which is subject to bushfires during the hot summer seasons, Forrest requires a hybrid type of building which is suitable as an emergency last

resort hospitality.

The aging population of Forrest elicits a demographic which is of working age and dependent on community infrastructure. Generally, health service within Forrest is through a health practitioner who works at the school several days a

week.

On this note, there should be an introduction to clinical services in combination with rooms for the demographics of aging working group people.

I propose that this building should be complemented with a design strategies which ties in to the content of such a facility. As such, the core of the design is

strategised to include a whirlpool roof.Rainwater collected will go through a filtration system along the funnel interface

of the roof, with purified water flowing down the building along the glass tube, finally reaching its destination in the hydrotherapy pool.

The whirlpool roof will act as both a cooling system for the building, but simultaneously as a hydrotherapy pool for bodily healing purposes.
