2.1. Interpretation of definitions

7b9 3ualified medical practitioner means a medical practitioner re&istered under a

la8 for the re&istration of medical practitionersE

7c9 3ualified Mid8ife means a mid8ife re&istered under the la8 in force, for the

re&istration of mid8ives or trained in a licensed hospital, nursin& home,

maternity home for at least t8o years and duly certified to have been properly

trained in a hospital by that institutionE

7d9 3ualified ;urse means a nurse re&istered under the ;ursin& Council or

trained in a licensed hospital, nursin& home, maternity home for at least t8o

years and duly certified to have been properly trained in a hospital by that

institution!

7e9 ther paramedical staffs mean a staff trained in a licensed hospital, nursin&

home, maternity home for at least t8o years and duly certified to have been
