Minorities Shouldn t Trust Democrats
V Project
It s a stereotype for minorities to support Democrats and be anti-Republican. While I m
not advocating for minorities to become Republican (because that political party has far too
many problems for my taste), I can t understand how they can throw so much support behind
Democrats.

I find the way Democrats treat minorities is absolutely appalling. It s like the Democratic
Party treats minorities like pets that they need to care for. It s okay; we ll take care of you and
make sure you get everything you need. It s okay; it s not your fault. It s the fault of a racist
system. Let me give you a treat.
Democrats try to convince minorities that one day everyone in America will
automatically be equal on all levels (which is an unrealistic and unattainable goal) and if they
aren t then it s the fault of racism, or sexism, or some other ism that is craftily designed by
Republicans to keep people down (if only Republicans were organized enough and unified
enough to pull off those kind of conspiracies). They, in effect, convince minorities that they are
powerless to change their own situations.
I find this to be a crime against the human soul. I m not dumb, and I m not nave. I know
that there are elements of racism all through American society: some of it intentional and some
of it not. I understand that people can face victimization and hardship due to the color of their
skin or religion or gender or sexual orientation. It happens all the time every day everywhere.
It s happening right now.
What I find disgusting is how the Democratic Party succeeds in convincing individuals
that they cannot overcome obstacles on their own and they need the Democratic Party to fix
things for them. Is your child not performing well in school? It s not that they need to study
harder, or that you (as a parent) have to get involved and watch over their shoulders and make
sure they get educated. It s not your fault. It s the system. We ll throw money at your school

and change education laws and make things better for your child, and don t you worry: you
don t have to do a thing.
Are there too many minorities in prison? It s not your fault. The public school systems
failed to raise them properly and instill values in them. The police failed to keep them under
control. The economy failed to keep them employed so of course they had to commit crimes
of necessity. Don t worry, though: Democrats are coming to the rescue. We ll change the
schools and start social programs and put more police on the street to keep you safe. You don t
have to do a thing. What s that? What about all those other minorities who not only stay out of
prison, but abhor crime and the victimization of others? Well, those are the lucky ones. They
just haven t been victimized by the system as badly as you have, because if they were, they d
be in prison.
You don t have a job? Of course it s because of discrimination. It s not your fault and you
can t change that. The Democratic Party will make sure everything becomes fair. We ll level the
playing field so much that you don t even have to play in order to win. As for those minorities
who managed to achieve success out of poverty? That was just an anomaly. It didn t have
anything to do with hard work and long hours and competition and education (both formal and
self-education). It had to do with luck. Trust the Democrats: you can t become successful
without our help.
It s sick. The Democratic Party has convinced millions of people that minorities are not
capable of success without assistance, and then they have the gall to accuse others of
discrimination and trying to hold minorities back. Have you ever watched a news story about a

social program that worked in a black neighborhood? Everyone takes this condescending good
for you attitude as if they performed some kind of trick that they need to be proud of.
The Democratic Party has robbed human beings of the basic right of self-determination.
They have taken groups of people, united by nothing other than skin color, and have made
them passive observers of their own lives, trained to speak up when the Party wants them to
speak. The Democratic Party manipulates minorities for votes and power, and then manages to
convince these groups that the y need the Party.
I would normally think this was brilliant in a Machiavellian way if I believed it was
intentional, which I don t. I think it all came about by the Party pandering for votes, finding a
formula, and then working that formula to death. Do you want people to like you? Give them
stuff. Do you want to make them mad? Threaten that the other guys hate you for being born
and they want to take your stuff away. Have they stopped thinking for themselves so much that
they believe they need the Party to change their lives? Good. More votes for the donkey.
I sometimes wonder what would happen if minority supporters of the Democratic Party
withdrew their support. If they said You know what? Screw the Democrats and screw their
programs and their promises. I ll make my own way to the top. But I know this will never
happen. I know far too many people who have become far too comfortable with their lifestyles.
Some have even gotten rich by taking advantage of the Democrats system (and citizens). They
will always be housepets for the Democratic Party, and that s fair. This is America. People have
the freedom of choice and the right to a vote.

But be warned, oh great donkey! You are losing your minorities. More and more are
becoming disillusioned with your party and your principles. More and more are choosing to not
fall for your lies. More and more refuse to let you steal the strength of their human spirits and
perpetuate the mirage of helplessness. It s a trickle right now, but the trickle is enough.
Because sooner or later that trickle will create a sizable pool of independent thinkers
who wish to retain their own power. These are people who are walking their own paths, living
their own lives, and changing the negative statistics that you need, not because they re trying
to make a statement, but because they strive to better their own lives for their own purposes.
These are people who do not choose to wait for your help but instead do for themselves
because it s more practical and it works out better for them. There will be a shift in minority
power, and it will not fit in with the Democratic model of dependence on social assistance. And
what will the donkey do then?
