Product Information

Miravista™ Flat Roman Shades

• Standard folds for Flat Roman Shades are 8”.• Clear polymer rods on the back of shade provide folds.• Valance hangs approximately 8” off of the headrail with cords behind valance.

Valance is included in the flat roman shade price.• Valance and cord lift system are standard on Roman Shades.

• Option of cord loop clutch mechanism (see bottom of grid for pricing).• The standard valance and cord lift system is strongly recommended for inside

installations.• Pull cord and cord lock are placed in front of the material (and behind the valance) for

easy access. Cord is colour-coordinated.• Cord length is 2/3 of shade length with a colour coordinated wood tassel on the end

of each colour coordinated pull cord.• Maximum shade width will be determined by material specifications.• Minimum width for standard cordlock shade is 11”.• Maximum shade height is 108”; Minimum shade height is 16”.• Wood Baton Option - 10% surcharge

position.• Stacks the fully raised shade more compactly than a conventional

cord lock and holds it more securely.• Designed for a single shade or multiple shades on one headrail in

Inside mount

Inside mount shades areinstalled inside the windowcasing.

1. Measure the exact insidewidth of window casing fromone inside edge to the other inthree different places. Recordthe narrowest measurement.

2. Measure the exact height inthree different places from thetop edge of the opening to top of sill. Record the longestmeasurement.

Outside mount

Outside mount shades are installed outside the windowcasing, covering on arealarger that the windowitself.1. Measure the exact

width to be covered.Be sure themeasurement overlapsthe window openingby at least 1 ½” oneach side (3” totaloverlap) to ensure lightcontrol and privacy.

2. Measure exact height

to be covered,including desiredoverlap (typically from top edge of molding to bottomedge, or to top of sill if there is one).

3. The factory makes NO deduction for an outside mount.

The standard panel lengths are 8” for Flat and 8” for Hobbled. However, thebottom panel is used as the adjustment panel to get finished shade height.The bottom panel length varies depending on shade height. Just a smallchange in finished shade height can create a significantly different look. It isvery important to consider this possible variation when ordering more than oneshade for a room.

Note: Stack height includes headrail and hem bar. This chart is a combinationof the Cord Loop Operating System Cafe Style, Bottom Up/Top Downand the standard control. It is an approximation of the largest stackpossible.

Remove shade from the window; open shade and lay it out on clean, flatsurface. If the shade is dusty, simply vacuum over it using an upholsteryattachment. A feather duster can also be used to remove dust while shade is inthe window. Dry cleaning is not recommended. Due to the differences inultrasonic cleaning operations, we do not recommend this method of cleaning.
