There will be one Mass Memorial Day at 9 am. Memorial Day, first known as Decoration Day, honors men and women who have died in the service of their country. It orig-inated in the years following the Civil War and became an offi-cial federal holiday in 1971.
NO YOUTH MEETING THIS WEEK, MAY 29. Sunday, June 5, the 5:30 Youth Mass is going to be our Baccalaureate Mass and Potluck dinner to follow. We will honor our graduates from the Class of 2016 with a special blessing at the Mass. STEP UP FOR LIFE WALK 2016, Saturday, June 25, 9 am—12 pm, Liberty Station,
NTC Park. Help CAPS reach its goal to raise $10,000 to train 3 new nurses in ultrasound. A generous donor has offered a $5,000 matching grant-every dollar raised up to $5,000 will be matched. Register and donate online at CAPSWalk.org. Invite a friend to match your donation!
Martha and Mary Guild Martha and Mary Guild meets Mondays at 10 a.m. in the Mission church. They begin with coffee and prayer and then do light cleaning to the pews, kneelers, railings and sanctuary.
