1.Cloud architecture of the system
Cloud management can synchronize learners’ progress and record to the “cloud”, so as to support learning on different devices without interruption.
2. Cloud Technologies Used (1)•Users visit the Mobile Class platform with mobile
devices.
•SaaS (Software As Service) type of m-learning:•Download and install m-learning applications
•The core learning service (cloud) is deployed by using cloud application architecture on HTML5 standard.
•mLearn service is integrated with the learning platform of Shanghai Lifelong Learning Network, to ensure the greatest reusability.
2. Cloud Technologies Used (2)
• System can support both Androi and IOS mobile phones
• Access manager will identify the browser and the type of the mobile devices, and activate automatic typesetting.
• The system will use cloud technology to achieve the “multi-screen-in-one” function:
1. Provide learning material such as video-on-demand
2. Synchronize learning records to the “Cloud”
3. Access the “learning cloud” anytime anywhere on various mobile devices
2. Cloud Technologies Used (3)
• IasS: the Vmware system software: virtually manage the
infrastructures supporting cloud learning, realize flexible
hardware support
• The architecture based on cloud management can support
cross-platform devices.
•Cost of system maintenance and upgrade is low.
3. Technical specifications and protocols
HTTP download streaming media player progressively.
—uses standard HTTP protocol to achieve playing while
downloading.
HTML5
—significantly increases the usability of mobile Web.
CSS3 —Fits intelligent mobile phones based on WebKit
