Anthony Edwards BFSA and BGSA Graduate Scholarship

The scholarship will be granted annually to a graduate student from an under represented group in order to promote diversity among the student body who has achieved academic excellence, mentored other students and served as a model for leadership in his or her academic discipline. Established in 1999, the one-year Duke Energy Fellowship was established to support a first year Master of Human Resources student. The contract suggests that the selected candidate complete a research project on an issue of critical importance to the HR field. Specifically, the student would complete a two-part project where they examine the impact of HR on firm performance.

Established in 1998, it is the intent of the donor that the fellowship be awarded to an IMBA student with preference given to applicants with an undergraduate degree in engineering. Michelin has an option to review fellowship applications and interview applicants. However, final selection shall be made by the Dalra Moore School of Business. The fellowship is for $5,000 per year (for two years).

Moore School of Business Undergraduate Scholarships

Moore School of Business departmental scholarships are competitive and limited. The number and amount of scholarships awarded vary and are subject to funds available. Students receiving awards are expected to have high GPAs and exemplary records of achievement. While a number of factors are considered, the majority of BA scholarships are based on academic performance. An applicant must have a 3.0 to be eligible for a scholarship and the majority of Moore School scholarship recipients have a G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher. The following guidelines have been adopted by the Moore School Scholarship Committee: • Recipients must be full-time students enrolled in the Moore School on the Columbia campus. • Academic merit is the primary consideration. • Scholarships may include other selection criteria as specified by donors, such as class standing, major, residency, or financial need.

Taftali International Business Endowment Fund

Provides financial support for MSB students of Turkish origin. The scholarship(s)/Fellowship(s) will be awarded by a selection committee of DMSB (see gift agreement for committee members). 1) an IMBA student who exhibits the exemplary heritage and values of the Donor's parents; 2) an undergraduate student majoring in Finance who exhibits the exemplary heritage and values of the Donor's parents; 3) an undergraduate Honors College student majoring in Finance. If there are no suitable candidates, the scholarship will not be awarded. The recipient(s) must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale to be considered for renewal.

Supports undergraduate scholarships or graduate fellowships. Recipients shall be students who have graduated from an accredited Newberry County high school, presently, Newberry High School, Mid Carolina High School. Whitmire High School and Newberry Academy. Selection shall be based on academic excellence, leadership and community service.

Ted E. Drucker Scholarship Endowment Fund

Established March 2007, the fund shall support undergraduate scholarship(s) in the Moore School of Business. The recipient(s) shall be known as Ted E. Drucker Business Scholar(s). Selection shall be based on academic achievement. The scholarship(s) is to be awarded to Moore School rising junior(s) or senior(s) with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Texaco

The Texaco Fellowship totaling $5,000 shall be designated for a first-year MIBS [IMBA] student with undergraduate majors preferred in engineering, computer science, geo-sciences, and accounting/finance. Student must have a minimum cum GPA of 3.3.

Wells Fargo Fund for Excellence

Established in 1967, the Wachovia Fund for Excellence Fellowship is awarded to outstanding academically qualified candidates enrolling in the IMBA or MHR programs. The award is $2,500 for two years. The fellowship is awarded to an incoming masters program student who has demonstrated the potential for making a significant contribution business leadership through previous academic and/or professional accomplishments.
