NEW PASTOR - Last Sunday, FBCM members voted one-hundred percent to call Dr. Bill Booth as our new Senior Pastor. Dr. Booth will begin serving here on Sunday, December 4th. Please keep him in your prayers as he and his wife, Lisa, prepare to move here from Virginia.
ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL - This group will meet tonight at 5pm in the Learning Center.
JOY CLUB (NEW DATE) - The Senior Adult Joy Club Thanksgiving Luncheon has been rescheduled to Tuesday, November 15, at 10:30am in the gym. Turkey, dressing, and rolls will be provided. Please bring side dishes and desserts to share.
CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES - The deadline to bring completed boxes with the $7 handling fee is Sunday, Nov. 13. Our goal is 100 completed boxes, and we currently have 54. Please put them under the display in the hall by the church office.
CHRISTMAS WISHES - Each year, we work with John 316 Outreach and other local churches to provide Christmas gifts for local families. These families have been identified by Blount County school resource centers as those who need help with Christmas purchases this year. Wish lists containing gift and clothing items will be available for sponsorship here next Sunday, November 13. The purchased gifts are due back at FBCM by November 27, and they will be given to the families at our Christmas Wishes party on Dec. 13.
MISSION OF HOPE - The blue collection barrels will be out in the next few weeks to receive donated non-perishable food, and new clothing, toys, and hygiene items. These items will be distributed to children in rural Appalachia.
COMING UP - We will have our Deacon Ordination service next Sunday, November 13. Gary Stinnett will be preaching on Sunday, November 20 and 27.

For school-aged children, Kindergarten through 6th grade, we have Kids’ Worship available in the Kids’ Park at 10:30am every Sunday, except for fifth Sundays when they join their families for worship.
