General

• Please do not change device settings and do not play around

• Handling of the touchscreen If usage with stylus: Hold the stylus as vertically as possible Tip the touchscreen shortly and with normal pressure Don‘t put your hand/finger on the display

• Device on/off Device dependent position of the power button Only turns the display on/off (no data will be lost) When not in use the display gets dark after approx. 30 sec. press the power

button

• In case of questions/problems or if the text is displayed in an unknown language please report

• Often there is an information as an introduction for a question. Read out the information and click on "Next".

• Don't click on the button "Menu". If it happens, click on "Close" to leave the menu.

• Help: if help is available, a bulb is shown. Click on bulb for help text.

Scrolling(Windows mobile)

• If the text is longer than the display (recognizable by the displayed scroll bar), always scroll the whole way down.

• Scroll: Pull scrollbar

Number and text entries

• Virtual keyboard is automatically shown

• Open/Close via symbol

• Continue with “Return“ key (on the virtual keyboard)

• ... or close virtual keyboard and press “Next“ button

• If virtual keyboard is not shown anymore, please report

Single/Multiple choice

• Click anywhere in the line

• QuickClick: when clicking the answer, automatic jump to next question

Auto completion

• Similar to navigation system

• Enter first letter and choose from hit-list

• An entry from the list shall be selected. If no matching entry is found, please report.

Ranking

• Choose1st rank, then 2nd rank etc.

• Chosen items disappear

• Possible to reset

Voice Recording

• Start recording with red circle

• Stop recording with blue square

• Delete with red cross

• Play with green triangle

• Limited recording length

• Distance to microphone: max 0,5 m

• Don‘t cover microphone with your hand(position of microphone is device dependent)

• Please use the voice recording! (Don‘t press “Next“ without making a recording)

Chapter overview - Options

• Chapter overview shows all enclosed sub-chapters

• 1. choose a sub-chapter for processing

2. process the sub- chapter

3. choose next sub- chapter etc.

4. If all sub-chapters have been

completed, press "Next" to proceed

Chapter Overview - Navigation

• Completed chapters are marked with

• “Next“ = continue in questionnaire (usually only when ALL chapters have been completed)

• "Back" = return to previous question (the question before this chapter overview)

• Chapters are checked for completeness

• Incomplete chapters are shown and can be directly chosen for processing

• „Ignore incomplete sub-chapters“ only in exceptional cases!
