school wide policy states that late homework will be accepted for
partial credit during a particular unit of study. Homework will not
be accepted for credit when that unit of study has been completed.
Assignments turned in late will be assessed for 30% off. If a
student needs help outside of class, the teachers are available
during study hall and before or after school if pre- arranged by

Homework=0% This is your students practice. A time that they should
not be afraid to make mistakes and try their hardest. Slide 16
Students are in my classroom to learn. They need to master the
content and skills introduced to them so they are prepared for high
school. Therefore, students should not accept below average or
personally poor grades on summative assessments. Students will be
allowed to retake or redo summative assessments at teacher
discretion, up until the last week of each quarter. Students will
be required to follow the retake/redo requirements for each
assessment to be eligible and different versions of the assessment
