To perform flash programming, the SD card must be inserted. Otherwise, there will be a warning window showing that SD card does not exist. This machine is equipped with a SD card. If damage happens and you want to buy, please choose specification of 32G, Class 10, HC. Please format the SD card in FAT32 format.

The flashing machine is guaranteed for one year. If there is a problem with the machine, please do not disassemble it for repair. If the damage is caused by improper disassembly, it is not covered within the warranty.

If the cover of the machine can't be closed, please check (1) if the carrier is placed installed well (2) the lock of the carrier is closed well.

Please refer to the instruction for the meaning of indicators and sound.

The emergency switch is only pushed in an emergency. If you push the emergency switch, please remember to turn the switch back when you resume using it. Otherwise, you will not be able to start the system by turning on the power switch.

Replacement process of carrier assembly3

Take out appropriate carrier from the Storage box. To replace the carrier assembly, replace the cover with the carrier at the same time. Take out the carrier first and then remove the cover. Turn off the power when replacing the carrier.

3-1. Take out the two fixing screws of the top cover of the carrier and remove the upper cover.

Use a 3mm hexagonal wrench to loosen the hexagonal screws on the two sides of the handle.

3-3. Take out the top cover to be replaced.

When installing the top cover, make sure the positioning pin is aligned with the positioning hole below, so that the upper cover can be placed

3-5. After the top cover is closed, lock the hexagonal screws. The other two sets of covers are replaced in the same way.

After the upper cover is replaced, open the upper cover assembly and you will see the storage space for carriers.

3-7. The side of the carrier with silver piece should be turned outwards, inserted obliquely, and pushed forward to fit in the storage space.

If the carrier is not installed well, or the lock of carrier is not turned to the closed position, the upper cover can’t be completely closed, which may damage the carrier.

Note

When you take out carrier, please hold the both sides of the carrier from above to avoid touching the PINs inside it.

Software operation steps4

When the power is turned on, the display panel will display the startup screen. The control panel can be operated with the top cover open.

Make sure the top cover assembly is open and then turn on the power switch. (I: On / O: Off)

Turn the control knob to . After entering the main screen, turn the knob to “Check ECU Version” and press the knob to check whether the software version to be programmed corresponds with the ECU.

4-5. In the main screen, turn the control knob to . Press the knob to select the flashing version. (The first time you flash, please select the flashing version first. If you are flashing the same ECU, you don't need to select the flashing version.)

Please follow the on-screen instructions to check if the identification code of the flashing version corresponds with the ECU.

Each carrier position is displayed on the control panel with the corresponding carrier number. If the ECU is loaded, the corresponding number on the screen will be green. If the ECU is not loaded, it will be light gray.

When the power is turned on and the ECU is not loaded, the carrier/flashing light will light red and the display panel will show loading status.

After the ECU is loaded, the carrier/flashing indicator does not light red, indicating that the all the ECU are loaded.

During flashing, the number that the screen originally displays as green will slowly turn orange. It will show the percentage below. During the flashing, the carrier/flashing indicator light will continue to flash.

When the screen of corresponding number of the ECU turns orange and the percentage shows 100%, the flashing is completed. When the flash programming is successful, the corresponding carrier indicator light will go out. The machine will have two short beeps, and the indicator light will turn green. At this time, the top cover can be opened.

4-16. If you want to flash the same ECU, just replace it with the ECU to be flashed. When all the carrier numbers are green, you can close the top cover, and the flashing procedure will start automatically. You don't have to select the flashing version again. If you want to change the ECU of different models and sizes, please follow the procedure of replacing the carrier and selecting the flashing version.

If the ECU is misplaced, the corresponding number will display the red X symbol, and the carrier indicator will not flash continuously but will be steady red (picture 1). The cover can be opened after the flashing process is completed. As long as one ECU fails to be flashed, the machine will have a long beep and the indicator light will be red (picture 2) . The carrier indicator will correspond to the number indicated on the screen.

Please do not open the cover when ECU flashing is in process. If there is an error, please wait until the entire flashing process is completed, and then eliminate the ECU that have failed to flash.

Emergency switchThe power switch has been turned to the ON ( I ) position, but the machine does not react. Please check if the emergency switch is in the pressed state. If yes, first open the upper cover assembly and then turn the button clockwise to let the button rebound to the initial state.

SD cardAfter the flashing version is loaded, you need to return to the home page for ECU flashing, and put the corresponding ECU into the carrier. (No matter how many ECUs you put, you can proceed with flashing).

Easy troubleshootingIn the case of 5-2 and 5-3 problems, the easiest way to fix is to open the top cover and restart.

Display flashing failureIf the ECU is loaded correctly, but the flash programming fails and the screen displays X, then you can press to reset.

If the emergency switch is returned without the cover open, the screen and the loaded ECU will not match.How to troubleshoot: Open the top cover, restart and operate by following the standard procedure.

Safety lock while transporting6

6-1. While transporting the machine you need to fix this screw so as the cover lid doesn’t open back or when you need to keep the machine in locked position.
